... it's over just now, but you should be able to catch it on iPlayer here eventually*:

Excellent program. Recommended. Getting some way back towards the 'old' Horizon.
*Unless this is a repeat and I missed it earlier.

It was great. I loved the dog v wolf experiment. But the foxes in cages

.... I'd have tried to bite the daft bitch's hand off iff she kept me in a cage like that. :pissed: :pissed:

But it seemed the tame ones didn't mind at all.
I liked the evolutionary insight towards the end about how dogs sometimes displace children.

After 8 generations of being taken out, hand fed and cuddled. I wonder what the early lives of the non-domesticated ones was like?
Good prog though. I like Horizon. It's always simply done.

Some of the episodes from the past few years have been meh at best, but this one was back on form. But then it
was about dogs.

Great prog. Watched it in bed with our two baby substitutes cuddled up beside us both!

So the conclusion basically was that people bond with dogs because we've bred them to be a bit human-like?
No wonder I'm a cat person! I have trouble enough with proper human-humans, why would I want the needy, wet-nosed, quadrupedal pseudo-humans hanging around as well?
No thank you! I'll stick to the company of cute little psychopathic killers instead.
