Two points:
I noticed that the feet seemed to slip a fair bit, even though they were made of rubber. I suspect that there are a lot of subtleties to the articulation and surface nature of paws, giving a real cat much more traction...
Also, it was clearly externally powered. I suspect with current battery of fuel cell technologies, there would be major weight/range issues and trade-offs in a truly autonomous model.
