Are two 4gb pcs equivalent to a 8gb one?
Apparently even Photoshop can run at its full potential on just 1.7gb so is this 8gb/16gb thing just bragging rights?
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

It's customary for me to have 8-10 applications open at all times. The extra processing power has an immediately obvious effect on performance.

Getting rid of of the shit that is hogging your RAM is a better plan than just buying more. I have had no problems since I moved over to arch and all open source applications. I can have 4 workspaces plastered with stuff and not a glitch.
