Technology: your predictions

Predictions have always been difficult, maybe more so now when things look so precarious in some ways, but assuming a couple of givens, i.e. no major catastrophes and muddling through, even if it's a bumpy ride, what do you think might be some of the major technolological developments of the next twenty years?

... of course, if you look at predictions from (say) 50 years ago or more, this whole business starts to resemble a crap-shoot.

There will be silver clothes, flying cars and household robots in 20 years. There have been going to be silver clothes, flying cars and household robots in 20 years for over 50 years. I can't see any reason for that to change.

Can the household robot make a decent martini? That's important. Mrs. Lak already has some strappy silver high heels but I can never get her to wear them. Maybe they'll fit the new Sexbot.
