Would you go up with nobody in the cockpit?

Sure, whatever

You know what? when "intersting" is synonymous with "dangerous", I can live with dull.

You don't live with dull, you exist with dull.

Not sure the thing-a-ma-jig laklak was describing can go fast enough to produce a fatal crash.

Havent found the kind of hazardous activities that makes me want to agree with that motto.

Now, if I were a great swashbuckler and lived on a magical world, without the host of health problems I have (which would have made me very dead on most worlds without modern medicine anyway), I might see different.

And that's why you are such a sad-sack. If you don't want to live, that's fine, huddle.
Now, if I had a Heron sword and lived on a magical world, without the host of health problems I have (which would have made me very dead on most worlds without modern medicine anyway), I might see different.
I went out with a high school diploma and a desire to do anything that came my way. I could write a dozen books about the three years that came after my graduation. And I wouldn't miss a moment of the pain if it meant I'd miss the wonders as well.

I've had little enough wonder in my life that I do mind the pain, which I have had a surfeit of anyway...
