And MZ I'm sorry I ruined the game for you. I've tried to make it pretty well known that I'm not around much, if at all, on the weekends so it should be a null tell, not a town tell.

and during midgame it probably would have been, but when there's only one scum left and night actions are still occurring, it's obvious they're not from the absentee player. maybe gm's need to start games on friday's or some such so the weekends are very unlikely to be during endgame.

Something about your not really debating with other players, just stating your thoughts fairly briefly - that may have pinged a bit, though it's not that different from your vanilla game.

Yeah, it's hard to say. I know what got my attention and why. And, in the spirit of not disarming in the presence of a future adversary, I'm not tellin'. I never come completely clean until the player's game has morphed such that the tell is no longer valid.

Add in the fact that my brain is wired for relative tells rather than objective ones. even when I do try to explain exactly what raised a flag, I don't do such a great job of it.

I really want to start re-implementing what I know about mafia into my game play. I haven't really been trying to be helpful as a townie in recent games.
