I know, and I'll say again I'm not particularly happy about that. We've played together before, so you probably know I've been played before.def wrote:It's your callamok wrote: It wouldn't be a dumb move if you were scum. It wouldn't matter who you cleared.
I've just read through the entire thread (thank goodness it's not that long), and I'm not changing my vote.
As I said, I have to choose. I say this realizing that if I'm wrong a whole bunch of eyes are going to rolling the next time I have the nerve to sign up for a game here - sort of a flashback to being the last kid chosen for the team in gym class - but be that as it is, I'm staying with my vote on Mantis.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

Ha! I'm ready to prostrate myself before Mantis and the rest of the crew if I'm wrong, and and also scold, scold, scold Feck.def wrote:No worries, I'm fine with your decision... unless you're wrong
I believe my logic stands, though. I'll know soon enough. I'm not changing my vote.

Oh, crap! I got confused and thought nightfall had passed. I was waiting for the hammer to fall, when I saw a post from Zigmen.

Tea Party vs Zombie Winner!
You pry Mantis from the Bus and make her lie in the dust.
Too proud to beg, she is. Noble, really. She scowls at you all.
"You're in the Tea Party!" you shout.
She shakes her head and shows you the empty jar she has been carrying.
"I'm the Seer. I cleared fine young Def, you know.
Def pleads for Amok to take a final look at Feck.
"Look!" Def cries, "he's got fucking jowls. He smells like biscuits and gravy! He . . . he's a monster!"
Amok and Feck brush Def out of the way and bash Mantis to death with her empty jar,
NightFall~
Scum have already chosen their Targets.
They Rob Def and steal the Blue Locket, which they use to strangle Amok.
Amopk was a Zombie, and was Vanilla Town
The following morning, we find
1.Def
2.Feck
And the winner is!

Tea Party vs Zombies
Game Mechanics:
Zombies: 8 Members, 1 was a special: Mantis was your Busdriver and she carried The Brains. The Brains were your emergency reserves for food. If she lost the brains, she would become your Seer.
Tea Party Scum: 2 Members, no specials. They were allowed to make 1 kill per night and could search one player per night. If they found The Brains, the successful searcher would become a Don, and the remaining Scum (if still alive) would become a Blocker.
The balance was that, if The Brains were not found, you essentially had a game with only one special, the Busdriver. If the Brains were found, the Balance would become a Town Seer vs a Don and potentially a Blocker.
The Blocker never materialized.
So, the Balance was 8:2 Town vs Scum. The Seer Role was useless against a Don, and could have only been useful if there was a Blocker.
So, essentially, the game had no specials at all (cept a Busdriver that just confused the shit out of Scum).
All other Items were Red Herrings, and served no purpose at all. Everyone except VFW and the Scum team had an item.
If I may point out a few oversights made by both sides:
1)Ksen's day 1 statement about The Brains. (didn't read the role PM fully?)
2)Def didn't check his PM fully either, and claimed he had no items.
3)Amok lost the Orange Skeleton Key and didn't think it suspicious that Feck knew of it.
4)Even with the Claimed busdriver, Feck still thought there was another thief (I think?)
Everyone who died was killed with the item they were holding (Praying's Flamethrower, for example).
VFW had no item and had no cause of death.
For a small game, it was enjoyable to run and watch!!!!
Thank you all for playing!
