The querent enters the dimly lit room and takes a seat at the scarf-covered table. She nervously runs her finger over the tassled edging and wonders what the strange symbols on the scarf mean: a tangle of swords, staffs, fancy chalices and pentagram-inscribed plates.
The reader emerges from a doorway festooned with a beaded curtain, the beads clicking behind her.
She sits down across from the table, and pulls a large deck of cards out of her pocket. "What brings you here?"
The querent starts slowly, but soon a flood of concerns regarding family, lover, career, and purpose in life have spilled from her. The reader sits back, eyes half closed, taking it in, while shuffling the cards.
"Enough." She places the deck on the table and deftly separates it into 3 equal piles of cards. "Choose".
The querent hesitantly taps the middle pile.
The reader picks up all three piles, with the signified pile on top
"It was good you came here. These cards are special. They will do more than point out a path to you. They will choose that path and set you on it. It is sometimes a battle for supremacy among the cards. Do not let that concern you. The cards will determine whether your concerns are resolved favorably soon or if you have a great struggle ahead.
I will lay out a 14 card spread to explore your questions. We will begin the reading with the first card. It signifies past events that bear on your questions."
You may chose a mayor if you wish (blue bold font), and select the card to be laid out first (lynch vote - black bold font).
Day 1 is under the influence of: The Angel/Judgment (Reversed) - delay and indecision. The mayor's vote cannot break a tie today. If there is a tie, the lynch decision will be made by coin flip.
Night 1 is under the influence of: The Source/The Fool. - new beginnings and adventures. Night actions will go through without modification.
This gameday will end in approximately 22 hours (6 PM GMT Friday)

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Or a "Slayer List", as the case may be

I'm a little overwhelmed by the theme. Very mystical. I can smell incense.

Where are we selecting the cards from? Help me.
BTW, my avatar is the best.
And I think this is a really freaking cool theme.
But here’s the thing about rights. They’re not actually supposed to be voted on. That’s why they’re called rights. ~Rachel Maddow August 2010
The Second Amendment forms a fourth branch of government (an armed citizenry) in case the government goes mad. ~Larry Nutter

You are selecting the cards from among your fellow players. The lynch-voted player will be the first card in the reading.
