Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Yeah, but you didn't. And I picked off each and every one of you (I was also watching Evil Spock and it was my observation of her online activity that got her nailed - why didn't you listen to sifaka?) ... so...Ghatanothoa wrote:Should have hit you that night while I was still alive

Normal and animavore would've been the only collateral damage.. and let's face it.. who wouldn't pick off those two, given the chance?

Yep.. almost as annoying as ass-raping lizards who, from the grave, continue to mindfuck poor struggling innocents by telling them 'there's an elephant in the room, can't believe you haven't seen it'virphen wrote:Yeah, I know, isn't it sooooo annoying when people can't spell nuisance properly?irreligionist wrote:Ghatanothoa wrote:I have thought normal from the start but irre is just a general nuicance even without powers she talks too much. I'd call those crocodile tears, except you're a monkey. Tell me something, if you were vigilante, would you have killed me the first night? Hmm?Animavore wrote:That's all I am to youirreligionist wrote: Normal and animavore would've been the only collateral damage.

Of course not.irreligionist wrote:I'd call those crocodile tears, except you're a monkey. Tell me something, if you were vigilante, would you have killed me the first night? Hmm?Animavore wrote:That's all I am to youirreligionist wrote: Normal and animavore would've been the only collateral damage.
After saying in the last thread that if I were a vigi I'd kill you on the first night I don't think it would be the smartest thing.
I'd have waited 'til the second.

So... Ghat is going to run some diabolical game on here? I think I better not play... so many people will be gunning for me

Virphen and I (well, mainly virphen but hell I've no shame in taking credit) are going to be running a new Mafia game on ratskep, starting end of next week, I think. So there's plenty of mindfuckery for the taking

Hey, earlier I asked a question to sifaka but irreligionist ended up answering it because she thought it was directed at her (with good reason because it was a rushed message and re-reading it now, it does look like I was asking her).
So this is to sifaka:
Why were you trying so hard to deflect blame off Mantis and onto noncredo and MAT? What benefit did you think it had for you? I still don't get it.
You also said that playing scum is nerve-wracking and I thought it might be! I'm actually afraid of being on the scum team. I just don't think I have the stomach to betray people's trust and be deceptive like that.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
oh and this one goes out to animavore: did you really suspect me all that time or were you just stirring more shit?

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Well at that stage in the game, I knew it was over for the scum team. So I had to decide between getting myself lynched without making a fuss, or keeping the entertainment going for a bit.heyzeus wrote:Hey, earlier I asked a question to sifaka but irreligionist ended up answering it because she thought it was directed at her (with good reason because it was a rushed message and re-reading it now, it does look like I was asking her).

Mantis seemed to be taking my side, so I decided to take hers.
I was just muddying the water, and it worked too! Look at how many times you ended up changing your votes!
As for "having the stomach", it's funny you should mention that, because I ended up with an upset stomach last night, and finally told oblivion, that I wouldn't mind ending the game. Yes, it was difficult to betray people's trust, but it was also fun! (I honestly didn't know I had it in me.)
