The doctor from the books was the doctor in the game... you got the wrong bloke!

No. They expect me to be there in the morning.

We got the right bloke, you had the ability to protect one person each night, the doctor didn't have any special ability.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

CookieJon wrote: Virphen, the reason I went public with your role and mine was that since it was a no-PM game I figured it'd have to come out publicly at some stage. I thought there was a chance I could be killed at any time at random, so it would be best to clear at least two o this before I lost the chance. I was counting on the Doc protecting me for at least one more night during the game before the baddies killed me, but I didn't count on the role of the blocker hampering my next investigation.
I knew what you were doing, and I didn't have a problem with it, although it was a bit inconvenient given what I was trying to do. It was something Animavoe said that got me killed in the end, if you've read the scum thread.
Ani's post, coupled with my assumption that the doctor from the books would be the doctor in the game, didn't reckon on a jailer.
I had to throw a few monkeywrenches into the design.

One of the others was having Jamis, who got into a duel-to-the-death with Paul, being his bodyguard. :shiver:

Well, you got lucky, but you certainly didn't get the person ani was referring to, which is what I meant.

Good. 'Cause then I'd've been fucked.

Pity that, not killing Ani, even indirectly, is my one regret in this game.

Well, that and getting killed.

I actually enjoyed lying to Mantis in the last game

I fell way too easily for both of your guises. Sifaka, I definitely had very high suspicions for you at the beginning. And when CookieJon came out and said he did as well, I thought for sure. But, then you came out with a really good act, and I totally fell for it. I actually felt bad. I apologized to you in the Peanut thread. From then on, I didn't think twice about you being guilty.

And Animavore, I really didn't think you were guilty at all. (last game) :ddpan: Goes to show feelings go for shiat in these games.

I wish I stuck around towards the end of last day round. I wanted to see what Normal would say and possibly change my vote... that is if there were enough people around to change it as well, but I end up falling asleep with the computer next to me.

And Noncredo & MAT, I just thought it was too strange, as Irre said they were both coming out of the woodwork. But, their stories were pretty legit, surprisingly.

Ah well, at least we won!
