This is not a call for anyone to out themselves. But it is interesting that Mantis gets blocked and we have no kill. Even though there was someone in the holodeck.

Am I the only one that thinks it's a town blocker who blocked two of the leading scummy candidates? Irre and Mantis, both had suspicion cast upon them, both were blocked.

It is an attractive theory. however, there are contraindications in the form of no claim. if a town roleblocker has blocked both of them and now knows we've come up short a nightkill, and factoring in the roleblocker flavor that has been reported, I'm having trouble imagining why they wouldn't out today.

but why would scum block the two of you? It seems like an odd choice.

you know.. you are right. because a scum block, in a small way, could potentially clear the person blocked. So why after having Irre and myself as potential lynches, they would do that... doesn't really make a whole lot of sense...

It does make sense. what does a block do?

Prevents the person from making an action. Generally, would you say, that anyone who comes out in the thread and says I was scum blocked (and in this case, the block was Romulans -- doesn't get much clearer than that) -- has a higher probability of being town than scum? And I say higher probability, because it's not that often that scum will roleblock themselves. Especially near the beginning.

So, no - it doesn't really make sense for them to have blocked 2 people that were under suspicion... and given them the allowance to be (possibly) put aside by town, for the reason that generally, we think that scum would most likely roleblock town over themselves.

still, she posted "kept you quite busy" which is the same wording as my PM... I think it's legit, because I never said that before

hah! Unfortunately, I'm as straight as they come. My options are cut in half too.


But hey - maybe Zig thought to give town a break by being more explicit in the roleblocker PM. You know, now he's letting us know that it is definitely a scum blocker. Maybe scum are a little overpowered..

Mantis I just had a similar thought, look at the page i linked. Denny is all over gib, as is feck, but feck and denny completely ignore each other even though feck is doing the same thing denny is going after gib for. Someone else want to take a look at that area of day one?

Feck's not really all over gib.. but there is the bantering back and forth. Interesting, if Feck is scum (as Denny was) that they were both having separate conversations with gib at the same time. Maybe that is why Feck did back off -- because, I see that he did.

But I don't necessarily see it as Denny and Feck ignoring each other, at that time.. just responding separately to gib's questions of them

grit had a vote on denny for a good chunk of day one. I have grit as most likely town atm.
