I think sarcastic Feck shows up when he's awake. I'm yet to see a helpful Feck, he normally just tries to get me lynched on day one when he's scum/town/indie/playing though. Wonder which one it is this time?Normal wrote:Is there anyone else who thinks that sarcastic feck shows up more when he's scum?Feck wrote:I'm not being helpful ..It was sarcasm

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

so that looks scummy. It sure doesn't look like your town game.Animavore wrote:So?oblivion wrote:yeah, and you very quietly rode their coattails in the 6th position.Animavore wrote:How does mine look any scummier than anyone else's? I was just going with the concensus. They made good points.

Asking to be lynched? Not very town, I made that mistake as scum once too.ScienceRob wrote:Sure thing, Oblivion. I will say that in a few games I will play the same way I do now and I suppose you can continue to have annoying knee jerk reactions and say that I am scum. Go ahead and lynch me next so I can prove my point.![]()
I didn't say you were full of shit, for the record, merely that your logic was flawed. Which I stand by as I am town.![]()
I will say you are full of shit for presuming that I said you are full of shit, however.
Anyone who thinks they can gain tells from gameplay is just a good mafia player, go back and read some of the older games with an eye to who was scum. Very few players can keep their scum game as clean as their town game, they know who their teammates are and avoid interacting too much with them, they have inside knowledge from being able to communicate privately, there are always tells.ScienceRob wrote:I maintain that anyone who thinks they can gain tells from usual game play is not understanding human nature. The nature of scum it to maintain the most standard normal game play and only through mistakes should you be able to tell they are scum. Saying that is why I think your reasoning is flawed about me Oblivion. I have made this stance every mafia I have played and will continue as such.

Oblivion, what's your opinion on normals? You went to great lengths to analyze the votes on him but you didn't actually say what you thought about him.

Mantis still hasn't picked up her role PM. If she hasn't turned up by daybreak tomorrow I will find a suboblivion wrote:Her profile says she lives in Toronto, Canada.oblivion wrote:I have this vague recollection that she's in the US central or eastern TZ, but I'm not certain.Uselesstwit wrote:SR I have to go with oblivion and zigmen on this one. your bandwagon post did look very bad. but I;m not sure if it was a worried town or a scum distancing themselves.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: V mafia day 1
ani, did you just pull your vote off the likely lynch candidate in favor of a throw away vote?
My top three are
ani
feck
and normals who I'm getting less sure about.

yes, but your vote was on normal, you got called on it and now you've pulled it off and put it on someone who is very unlikely to be lynched.
