True, but if it's a sk then they would be making themselves a target by outing.
I'm suggesting that the vision giver out, not the vig (if it's a vig).

and (assuming ksen is the town tracker) if you track the person who kills via brainscoop, think hard about whether it helps or hurts town for that to be known by scum.

I know I've not cleared myself. The order was random. I was fast asleep by the time Athene had made his role claim.

hold on this one..
http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 40#p909969 referring to this post http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 20#p909814

why did Irre think you were referring to that one? i'm wondering if Irre knew/sensed that his post was a little off, yet responded in positive anyway
That was not the post I had in mind, as I said, though I can see why she might have thought so. And it is one of r.c's posts that bother me a bit, though I can see someone who feels that the game is really all about vanilla town* saying that sincerely from a meta perspective, even though I felt (and still feel) that it was a mistake not to lynch me yesterday.

The post that prompted me to say that bit about naive posts and trying to blend in was this one http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 20#p909832, which came shortly after the one she thought I meant.
but my point in bringing this up was the fact that Irre thought it was the post where she responded to r.c. And I'm wondering if she thought that was the naive post you were talking about because she had a feeling that the post of his was off.

I think I'm being a bit obscure here...

unless it's a one shot vig deal, and then they should definitely out and help us narrow down the list.

No, I get it. I tried to lay out why I can see r.c's comment coming from a town perspective even though it pings a bit to me, too.

I still hold on to my view. Would a double night kill early in the game give us any additional info about scum?

Yes, it would. Scum kills definitely give info about the possible composition of a scum team, especially when they don't have a lot of intel about the possible specials in the game. Just as Linus' kill pointed to Feck.

In fact, this was the main reason I didn't want to out on day 1. Going into night 1 with nothing but day 1 bandwagons would have given TOWN's specials very little to go on.

Now you're definitely starting to make me wonder, r.c

It's all meta, innit? The pick of linus on n1 pointed to feck as scum because he favours that strategy as scum, and indeed he was.
