For denny it was...discouragingly. it's difficult getting into a good scrap sometimes.Adenosine wrote:Was that scrapping?

Re: Starfleet Day 3
oblivion you have a good point about there being to many scum with my theory. it really seems like we should only have two left plus maybe an indie. so no way mantis is covering for irre AND bili is in cahoots with them. Still have a bad feeling about bili though.

enharmonically, what scumbuddies would encourage dennyb to be more scrappy? I can see someone who doesn't usuall get into scrapes having a go at gib because he can be quite provocative when he wishes. he's has a good grasp of the art of sledging.

almost anyone could encourage that of denny, probably not a new player though.

Re: Starfleet Day 3
I think we need to look again at the Denny bw - because at that point, after grit explained himself, what I saw from catching up, was just a slew of people piling on Denny. There's got to be scum in there. And I have to admit - even though I didn't post it -- I wasn't really seeing the Denny thing. So, anyone who did mention that he looked townish, doesn't really bother me.
Maybe we should look at who didn't fos Denny during the day, yet jumped on his bandwagon. (er - maybe I should). 25 pages though..

but it's not like scum buddies can control another's posting. It was one of Denny's first posts that he started scrapping. I don't think speculating into who would have allowed that is usefuloblivion wrote:enharmonically, what scumbuddies would encourage dennyb to be more scrappy? Mantis I just had a similar thought, look at the page i linked. Denny is all over gib, as is feck, but feck and denny completely ignore each other even though feck is doing the same thing denny is going after gib for. Someone else want to take a look at that area of day one?

Re: Starfleet Day 3
you know.. you are right. because a scum block, in a small way, could potentially clear the person blocked. So why after having Irre and myself as potential lynches, they would do that... doesn't really make a whole lot of sense...Uselesstwit wrote:but why would scum block the two of you? Re: Starfleet Day 3
counterbalances.
Irre defended him, but voted for him as a least worse choice IIRC. I don't remember if ksen FoSed him. I argued with gib when he changed his vote from denny to ksen, wanting a case for considering ksen to be more scummy. I was already considering changing my vote from diva to denny at that point, but grit's epic post cut the idea short.
Azathoth hadn't FoSed denny that I can recall, but I'm not surprised he went with denny over diva given bilirubin's major spolight on denny's scum tells.
I think you have to keep that in mind. the rest of us were sitting on the grit bandwagon while bilirubin continued hammering on dennyb.
I can see a tenuous -- very tennuous -- case for that being the most awesome scumbus of all time, but I dunno.

I don't want to get all paranoid... but OB - what made you mention synthahol***? You just know Star Trek terms very well? It's just that it's kind of weird that that also happens to be what the scum roleblockers use..

I'm happy to see at least some are ready to play mafia now.

Re: Starfleet Day 3
I still have a problem with mantis and irre's story. Like mantis said it really makes no sense to block people that are likely to get lynched the next day, it would just give them cover. Also based on the people who were blocked it seems more likely to be a town block. I also don't like that irre just forgot to mention it was a green haired ROMULAN and said guy instead.

I think there was something about Ten Forward in the OP, or maybe mentioned earlier in the thread. Ten Forward serves synthahol. Romulas is well known for its luxury/contraband blue Romulan Ale.
I'm a long time trekkie of epic proportions. I'm gonna know this stuff. Just like I know that the green haired woman in the kiss youtube was not a Romulan.
Re: Starfleet Day 3
Am I the only one that thinks it's a town blocker who blocked two of the leading scummy candidates? Irre and Mantis, both had suspicion cast upon them, both were blocked.
Ignore me, I'm just here for the Mafia.
