After the dreadful toll of the last two nights, your heart races the instant your eyes snap open. You walk soft-footed through the rest of the exhausted company looking for signs of violence. It doesn't take long to find them.

Another huge bolt from a seige crossbow pins the figure of a tall elf to the rocky floor.

You look more closely, and realize that though the figure is far too clean-limbed to be a troll and has the pointed ears of an elf, this is no elf. It's some strange hybrid of elf and troll.





Irretating was Two-Edge a gifted inventor and metalworker, son of Winnowill and a troll father he could hardly remember. Two-Edge had hoped that this war between elf and troll could help him decide once and for all which of his own two natures was the stronger. Irre was a in independent inventor whose win condition was to survive until one of the factions wins.

Another body, this one sheltered beneath a rocky outcrop, has the same strange dagger with a scrolled hilt from last night, buried in the chest.
