Your memory is mistaken there, Aza. I had already received the role pm. If Contra now has my original role I do know that he isn't scum. I said as much when I reentered the game, subbing in for MZ. I saw no point pretending not to know anything about Contra's role.

Higgs or Nelli are wise votes. Jerome is a stupid vote. We need to get this together, folks, or Scum will just pile onto Jerome.

And for the players who think I'm possibly Scum protecting Scum, let me ask you this: When have you ever seen that happen? Scum don't protect their teammates. Jerome ALWAYS cracks under pressure when he's Scum, despite the coaching of his team. We've seen Jerome with a cool head, yes?

I'm temporarlily taking Gonzo off my radar based on Denny's view.

And Charlou's post needs to be understood clearly. If she read her original role-pm, she could not be Scum who came back as Town. She was either Town/Town, Town/Scum or Scum/Scum. And I stand by my 4% chance of Contra being Scum based on this.

Well I read the entire game over not sure if any of my reads have changed, but some were reinforced. In case I am killed tonight I thought I should reiterate some valid points, imo:

- Zigmen's revenge vote on Higgs today - Zig you have to admit that your having confused UselessTwit as the Seer cause confusion deservative of a vote. I voted for you for the same reason - you weren't making any sense. It looks as if you have changed your vote since then, but I still think it should be pointed out to everyone that your mistake got you votes yesterday and that is completely fair.

- Denny having supposedly only made views so far on people who've been nightkilled and the possibility of this being a bluff. Some have suggested (including Denny, mind you) that a possible anti-town flaw in the game mechanics could exist, but if his views cause kills then it would only be logical that I would be dead, so that doesn't convince me.

- Jerome's nonactivity and indefensible voting patterns. He's made no effort to explain anything he has done in more than a few words and is by far the least helpful player no matter what his alignment.

- Contra, Higgs, and MZ/charlou being 3 people who haven't claimed, while the former two have made a big deal out of a suggested mass claim. It has been said already, but it isn't uncommon to make a mass claim this late into the game. It's suspicious to me that charlous immediately cleared contra (even more so that Aza has pointed out she had no prior knowledge of his role (and now denied by charlou - hoping we can get that verified)). Before this, it seemed to me that MagicZiggy and Contra had been in agreement on a number of matters and it could be possible that they are the last two scum (along with Higgs as the third) and that Aza had not given safeclaims. I find this highly unlikely, but it is possible. It is also worth considering that they are the remaining cult members - Contra did say there were 2-3 of them, didn't he? In fact, he seems really confident with his numbers in any prediction he makes of the game set-up. Never any mention of a Serial Killer or vig, either, which is bizarre - though he did suggest they could've been recruited after I pointed that out to him. He also claims to have a good idea who the serial killer is, but for some odd reason will not share that idea with the town under the excuse it is apparently obvious. I have no idea who he is talking about, myself, but if it is so obvious - why not out with it before the day ends? Then again, I don't see why cult members would shoot down the idea of a mass claim and figure that they would be the players most eager to out as vanilla and watch for specials. My thinking here is all over the place and I am starting to wonder if it was, indeed, to eary to suggest a mass claim. Still I think MZ/charlou and Contra are the most town-looking players in the game.

- Throughout M has seemed newbish to me in a number of ways, but I'm not sure if she's been exagerrating it and milking the benefit of the doubt to avoid suspicion. She is another possible cult recruit.

- Mantis I've considered town from the start, but part of me wonders if I've been taking advantage of the confirmation bias in order to lessen the workload of scumhunting. Nothing has jumped out to my a suspicious, though, and it is still possible she is a member of the cult.

- After doing a re-read of Day One, one thing in particulary jumps out to me. In a list of players posted by zigmen the only player he voiced as seeming to him townie was oblivion. Be it having been early in the game, it is strange to me that he saw her and only her specifically as cleared. Here is the excerpt from that post:

Oblivion| 24 Leaning Town. I never agree with her reluctance to join a BW on day 1. But, she's usually town when she's off in outer space on some throwaway vote.

It doesn't say a lot and I had oblivion pegged as town, too, but I thought it should be pointed out. Day one reads are usually townie leaning, so I can't blame him.

- Throughout the early game nellikin has appeared to me to have town motivations with the exception of her initial mayor vote on charlou. By day three, however, there seems to have been a definite change in her outlook (i.e. "Starting to like this game" in her first post) and approach to gameplay (in the same post she immediately voiced that she "had gib down as town"). She also seem more lucid to understanding game-terms being used explaining that Trolls were, in fact, cult members, but that should have been obvious to anyone after the flip. She also voiced suspicion of Zig being a serial killer. So there definitely a believable cult recruit in her, but I couldn't find anything major to support the argument. She made an early vanilla claim, making her a target for recruitment, and there has seem to have been a change in her gameplay. I suppose that is the best we are going to get. Between her and Jerome - I am more comfortable with her being lynched - no matter how sick I am of excusing Jerome. vote nellikin

With all of that said - it is just speculating. As I said from the start - I am overwhelmed with suspicions and am finding it harder and harder to trust anyone with the presence of a cult. If we don't hit a cultist or scum with this lynch, I'm afraid the town will be in the minority tomorrow. We might even be risking an ENDGAME.

My only fear is that they might have been recruited.

I am now highly suspicious of MZ/Charlou because Aza has claimed Charlou never received the opening PM but Charlou claimed she did. I'd be more likely to trust Aza than Charlou.

In light of today's voting I think Mantis looks like scum and now have Charlou down as scum too. I'm leaning to trust DennyB, even though his claim is so wild that it seems improbable. Gonzo is almost certainly cult to me.

M looks good to me - don;t know about the rest.
