If I flip town? Are you planning on having me killed tonight

Nobody expects me...
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
I was told I would win with scum but counted as town I wasn't told anything about the scum team and had no way to contact them .Magicziggy wrote:Feck, when you were traitor, what did you know?

Nice try. If, meaning that I'm not at all sure you'll flip town, when you flip. If I were vig, however, you'd be on my list of consideration.andrewclunn wrote:If I flip town? Are you planning on having me killed tonight

irre i nodded a lot reading your longish post there, i don't regret keeping my vote on zigmen either. What do you make of his claim?

Geez, I need to do a reread asap. I'd forgotten about his claim. So, can't be NK'd, is what he's saying. Interesting. In a gonzo game, that role might just be in play (in a raven game I'd never buy it.) If I were vig I'd be seriously tempted to try to kill him. Actually, I'm pretty sure that's what I'd do.gib wrote:irre i nodded a lot reading your longish post there, i don't regret keeping my vote on zigmen either. What do you make of his claim?
What is more interesting is contra's OTT response to zig's outing.
I'm adding contra nicely to the top of my scum pile.

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
shouldn't there be a new game day by now?
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
iirc, zigmen claimed he can't be killed by friendly fire at night ... iow, scum can kill him.irretating wrote:Geez, I need to do a reread asap. I'd forgotten about his claim. Essentially, if he's to be believed, in a practical sense, zigmen's role amounts to vanilla town with an element of self-preservation built in.

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
ok i think this could be something
didn't zigmen basically say that he was immune to nightkills and that somehow makes him town?
well in MLP guess what they had instead of a Don? Yup. A scum special who couldn't be killed at night.
and that was b tern if my database's memory is up to its usual high standard

ah, ok. That's a weird role claim. Zigmen and role claims, though...charlou wrote:iirc, zigmen claimed he can't be killed by friendly fire at night ... iow, scum can kill him.irretating wrote:Geez, I need to do a reread asap. Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
are you saying there wasn't a noticeable change in your play between day 1 and 2?irretating wrote:Major FoS on UT. This is the second time he's talking about scum seething about loss of night actions. He used this idea to clear aza (not seething) and now to FoS me (apparently seething.) Sounds like so much BS.
My thoughts (pre going over the rereading the game threads):
feck is not scum - he would never be so stupid as to sandbag on a lynch at the last minute.
dp is not scum - this is his town game, where he risks being lynched by merely opening his mouth.
^ I'm willing to put my mafia cred on the line about those two.
I'm thinking traitor is one of aza, MZ or andrew. Aza is right about andrew acting scummy (newness notwithstanding) and a half out using a big name character is whiffy. Amok has done the same thing, which makes this game uber weird. Why out just a character name? MZ's game is very different to his last few town games. Aza has also seemed different this game IMO, but if andrew flipped town then I'd reconsider my read on him.
I was happy with my zigmen vote and wouldn't have changed it even if I'd been on the spot at the day's end.
@amok: I'd be interested to know if you feel you're being played by adenosine. Think about this for a scum strategy: come into the game, zone in on one player (who, behold, is scum) and get major town creds upon the flip of that player. As I have said, my game is different, because I won't trolley track, but I do think a seer view of adenosine wouldn't be a bad idea.

UT that's a 'when did you stop beating your wife' question. Your play is weird. Are you an indie?
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
wait a sec tho, didn't zigmen swear off fake roleclaims a few months back?
