If anyone can make a counter claim to DennyB or Zigmen - do it now.

Mantis do you have a username to go with your claim?

Jerome - same question. We've heard almost nothing from you this entire game. Nobody should be getting a free pass to not participate this late into the game. Who are your suspicions?
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

I've been thinking quite a bit about Adem being killed and his gameplay leading up to Night 3. Nothing stood out to me more than his advocation of Jerome's lynch (under any circumstances) and it makes me wonder if he was killed over it. It seems possible to me considering his well-distinguished self-centered mafia gameplay. This combined with a sustained absence and no really worthwhile input whatsoever leads me to believe Jerome has an anti-town role, even if he's a shitty mafia player. His participation in this game may be the worst I've ever seen. vote Jerome He might not be scum - afterall, he was on the oblivion wagon - but that isn't enough for me to consider him cleared.

I'd really like to hear from you, Gnome.

You thought he was special so you voted for him? Do you mean he seemed like scum/ anti-town? Usually people use the term special when refering to pro-town specialty roles. I've never heard the term be attributed to scum before, really. You seem confused.

How many games have you played, M?

 First proper one on my own! I shadowed for the 2 previous ones. He seemed very quiet for DP, but I see him more often on the rest of the forum, so maybe that's normal for him here? He looked like he was a one man on his own job, rather than part of a 'side'.

In that case you seem to be doing very well for a new player. I didn't understand anything going on in my first game, so I understand mixing up something simple like that. Just had to check what you were implying by it.

Who do you find most suspicious, then?

My specculation is that we have two cultist by this time, two scum and five town - a possible good potion of them being specials. I have a hard time believing that you would want to mass claim - it only serves to let scum know who better to target and/or who to recruit. Everyone else should stfu.

Gonzo, though you read town earlier, I think you are quite possibly a recruit right now. I can't see you making this move.

M, your post looks odd to me as well.

It seems to me the damage might already have been done.
We might not need to think out so loudly, let remaining town survey things, and with good fortune we might be able to pull off a win.

I'm not surprised they sound odd... they feel odd! Selfishly, I need people to think out loud as much as possible as I'm not able to read these games with any subtlety yet.

Obviously I have no special role to counter Dennyb or Zigmen, so I can't help there Gonzo. I was suspicious of Denny a couple of days ago, before he claimed Seer, then I got a bit fixated with DP. Not much else to add, I'm afraid.

Unvote Zigmen
I think most of scum/cult must be laying low watching us pick each other off.

Vote Jerome

I find it odd as well that my last views were killed. Both were suspect so why were they killed?
I also thought that maybe there is something whacky about my seer role. Perhaps flip of a coin to either view or kill?
Sounds like something AZA would do to mess with us. Esp in a drama game.
But if this was the case wouldn't there be another seer?
The only reason I can think of that I'm still alive is scum thought I was protested on night 2 instead of night 3.
But there were 3 hits on night 3 correct? IE: "synchronised assault on DP".
Perhaps 2 non kill actions on 1 player kills them.
:fp: There is something really weird going on here!

Gonzo, though you read town earlier, I think you are quite possibly a recruit right now.
Nothing has changed to my role since I've begun besides being elected mayor. I'm surprised that I haven't been recruited, which leads me to believe the cult has possibley diminished.

I am guessing the game is down to scum, an indy serial killer, the doctor, the seer, and vanilla townies or something close to that. If the cult does exist, I could see them pulling a WIFOM on the town in order to convince others that I was recruited and thus should be lynched - saving themselves a day and another chance at gaining a cultist. That's just my guess, though. Maybe they've been blocked from recruiting me? There are several questions left about what happens at night, I think it is important we know what roles are in play, don't you? Is it too soon?
I can't see you making this move.
And why is that, Contra? It seems to me that the major town specials have already come forth. With our Seer and Doc out we need to suss through the rest and determine who is what. If Denny and Zig can't be counter claimed - we'll at least have to take them on their word that they are the specials they claim to be, right? Then we have to consider if they've been recruited. Quite frankly Denny's coincidental reads are hard for me to believe. Do you think he's telling the truth?

There is also the chance that you don't want to claim because you have something to hide, but I did ask for a second opinion. I can see the cons to a mass claim, the cult dynamic is a major factor (I'm really not use to it, either), but it seems to me that the town would be better off if everyone made some sort of claim this late into the game.

I would also question if there is a bus driver, which is a pretty standard role for vanilla games.

It's lynch or lose time for town.
No shoddy guessing today! We need to be all over things the whole way through before we decide who to lynch.

If JEROME is town then we need even him so rethink your JEROME votes and whether or not they have substance. We can't afford to lynch even an unhelpul townie.

I don't think we should assume he's just an unhelpful townie, either. What do you think about there being two nightkills, Contra? You didn't seem to mention a serial killer in your version of the game set-up. Do you think the cult can make night kills?
