Ok
I've got ob, ksen and UT as claimed town specials
After those
r.c, ironclad and b.tern seem town based on their play
I have mantis as town but I'm beginning to have doubts as she's being a little followy and inconsistent
That leaves don't panic, charlou and feck as my bottom 3.

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
what's your flavor role ksen? because right now this is reminding me more than a little of the bus driver in the star trek game, unlikely role, no effect on the game, and I know i've seen false claim at least twice before. so let's her the flavor of your role pm.

It just clicked that the Linus kill actually does point to someone.

do you learn who they visit?ksen wrote:I get to pick someone and I can see if they visit someone else during the night.oblivion wrote:ksen, how does your tracker role work?
Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
I'm an acolyte of Dagon and was told I can track one person per night.Uselesstwit wrote:what's your flavor role ksen? because right now this is reminding me more than a little of the bus driver in the star trek game, unlikely role, no effect on the game, and I know i've seen false claim at least twice before. so let's her the flavor of your role pm.
Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
I haven't had a successful track yet so I don't know for sure but I'm assuming I would since that's how the normal tracker role works.oblivion wrote:do you learn who they visit?ksen wrote:I get to pick someone and I can see if they visit someone else during the night.oblivion wrote:ksen, how does your tracker role work?
Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
It's interesting that the term "acolyte" is not used in the story.

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
Well we have 11 people right now. Minimun of 3 of those are scum so max of 8 town.oblivion wrote:I'm going to throw this out for discussion, but I am not sure it's a good idea to pursue, so let's DISCUSS it for a while.
NOT ACT ON IT.
OK?
We think we could be near endgame, possibly at lynch or lose today depending on what the sk/vig does and if our doc or blockers get lucky tonight.
Does a mass role claim make sense? With 5 townies dead, some of whom were suspected, it may be that some specials have nothing to report that could clear another player.
2 are clear (me, OB)
1 partial claim that i'm not sure I buy(ksen)
I would guess we'd have a seer, a doc and maybe the roleblocker.
If that's it, we'd have 2 town that couldn't claim and three scum.
It might narrow things down but it would kill the seer tonight and I have no idea if any of their current views would help at all. Id be very tempted if we have a vig, that was more than one shot. Otherwise I'm hesitant.

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
Assuming ksen is telling the truth then we have 3 cleared townies. We have ... 4 specials, doc, seer, vig and blocker. That would put us at 7 cleared to 4 uncleared at the very least.oblivion wrote:I'm going to throw this out for discussion, but I am not sure it's a good idea to pursue, so let's DISCUSS it for a while.

If this was TR then the choice of zig would say to me that it's a vig. Would this be true on ratz?

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 3
I'm not convinced a mass out is a good idea. We'd def. lose a special tonight, and I don't think we can afford that. Plus, if we outed, then scum kill oblivion, they have a special ready to kill as well. Oblivion, what advantage do you see in this?
I've got to leave for several hours now, sat. night movie with the husband. Later guys.

I've not read the book, are there people in the story who have an acolyte like role but with a different name?oblivion wrote:It's interesting that the term "acolyte" is not used in the story.
