Feck, you didn't put a lynch vote down.
Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 1
no I missed it, I got distracted but to be honest I probably wouldn't have voted for Ksen as I thought he had messed up as a special not as scum.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 1
Well, ksen as scum is a relief.
I don't think he was protecting anybody or trying to set someone up. I think he jumped in with a careless post without reading his role pm carefully enough, and it was enough off course to get him lynched.
I doubt there's more than one other scum.

Not stupid: if it were a twenty player game, I'd be inclined to agree, given the ambiguity of role pms. As it is, too small a game to support indies, I think.amok wrote:Well, that's good. And I'll be the first to call myself stupid for the stupid tangent about a secret team, so we can get back to sensible scum hunting.
But the win conditions may be nuanced, though I can't guess how.

Huh? When did I go about telling people I was town?Feck wrote:Def, again are we expected to assume you are town because Telling everyone you are does not make it so .In fact it can get you lynched , just as being the first one to start talking about the town role PM does not clear you it can actually indicate that scum have been given a copy of the town PM and they are desparate to get it out there .

I expect people to know I'm town since I voted for Ksen early and he turned out to be scum. Makes sense, no?
Since I didn't mention the role PMs either, I'm just going to assume you aimed that at someone else.

One of you three is scum, trying to finger me to get things off of Ksen... I think Mantis is probably scum.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 1
what's funny is that i was literally writing up a post and then crossposted with Zig for nightfall. I was saying that I was beginning to wonder about ksen not coming back to respond to the questions asked of him -- and that it could have been that he really did mess up and just figured it wasn't worth it to try to backtrack his way through it. (which seems is the case)Magicziggy wrote:She made me nervous. With her vote on def. Mine was flimsy at best. Hers, as it turned out was final and could well have taken the smart thinking votes away from ksen.
How likely is ksen to have fucked up like that. More precisely, could he have planned his own demise in seeking to clear another.
Also, in answer to your question, Athene - it's true I have played many games with def at RS. However, I don't remember if he's said things like, it's a crapshoot, before. sometimes, stuff like that can look scummy because even though it's true, it can come across as an excuse/reason for a vote -- rather than actually having a reason other than the fact that it's a toss up.
and def - do you think that it could be that ksen's scum buddies knew that he messed up, so put a vote on him as well, instead of trying to save him?
Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
A harsh and bloody night . . .
Athene had her head stuffed with enough Pop-Rocks to blow up a small building. She was a Zombie, and was Town.
Today runs 24 hours and ends at Noon tomorrow EST.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 1
I did state outright I was vanilla town, in response to ksen's weird post to me. I wanted to make sure any other townies noted ksen's post and also could compare their own role pms to see if they were ambiguous enough to make ksen's post make sense.def wrote:Huh? There's no need for anyone else to make that statement.
Certainly the other scum could be hiding in the votes against him. The post was pretty fatal, and I think ksen didn't bother coming back because he knew he'd likely be lynched anyway. In his position I might have told my scum team to vote on me immediately as cover. So def voting early for ksen does not clear him at all, and makes him as likely scum as anyone else.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
I think this is an accurate record of yesterday's lynch voting and unvoting, please correct if I missed something:
vofw - praying
ksen - bt, def, -bt, amok, magicziggy, +bt
def - magicziggy, mantis, -magicziggy,
magicziggy - vofw,
praying - athene
I'm inclined to think magicziggy's more townish than not, because joining the ksen bw at that point would be something scum would normally avoid. def, not so townish with that second vote on ksen as he'd like us to think - see my second last post in night chat, day one.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
Okay, pardon me if I think the 'logic' going around is a little laughable. So, I vote for Ksen. A number of people think that is a scum move since Ksen is not an obvious choice or something, and vote for me.
End results: Ksen is scum. Now, a number of people think that vote was a scum move, since Ksen was so obviously scum, and that's what scum do on day one, try to get the ball rolling on their teammates. Either he was an obvious choice or he wasn't. I don't think he was an obvious choice, but he stuck out more than others (except me, of course)
Anyway, I'm a vanilla town zombie, I'm kind of assuming with a game of ten, maybe all the town are vanilla. I'll keep being town by voting solidly, rather than make up conflicting hypotheses.
As I said on day one, Mantis was suspect in her fingering of me for no reason, at least not one for an RS player ("What kind of townie writes the word crapshoot?")
Tentatively,

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
calm down, def. the day is young, townfolk will be accused, and scum will reveal themselves one way or another.
Notice, for example, Athene voted for praying and now Athene is dead. Normally scum would not have nk'd a player who fos'd them accurately, but if praying were the one remaining scum (there could be two left, but I doubt it) she might have felt paniced and decided to off the biggest threat.
