See, I don't think it's as much a reflection on my alignment as it is my personal gameplay, but having thought about it - there are consequences to the team for breaking the rules - and it's stupid to knowingly do so. Odd, coming from someone who GMs.
When you have seen edits in your games (where they are illegal), do you typically see edits from Townies or Scum?

Irre, why do you want me out of the way so quickly?

But, zigmen is standing out, with his OTT rationale to vote gonzo.
This looks like revenge voting too. Or is it because I am suspicious of your scummates?
Isn't it a bit early to play the town paranoid?

I admit the habit is bad and I need to quit it. It's a lot easier to fix an error on FF and get away with it than it is here. Though, in my own defense and as I've said before, I've always done it. It's like I have no respect for authority.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
most GMs go with random rolls for the role assignments. I've only run into one GM who habitually handpicks his teams.divagreen wrote:I had to look it up.oblivion wrote:gambler's fallacy.divagreen wrote:Gonzo and Zigmen are pinging for me. Something is looking staged.

Are roles left to random or are they mod selected?
I think Irre's crazy ass voting of me is suspect.
he's good at it and I still play his games, but as a GM I strongly disagree with non-random role assignments.

I don't know who I want for mayor. I'd vote irre if I knew for sure she'd get viewed, but I don't.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
Then I as town, seem to always flail. In the last game I pretty much just went along with whatever everyone else said and nobody really suspected me.Gonzo wrote:This would appear to be flailing, diva.divagreen wrote:Irre, why do you want me out of the way so quickly?
I maintain that I am a scum magnet when I am not playing scum.
And the revenge voting from Irre comment is from the last game we played where she was left alive. It was a poor attempt at banter, but I was genuinely curious as to what she had to say.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
Just don't get too frantic when you get voted for. One vote won't go anywhere if it's not built on anything, so it's better to let Irre's vote against you be seen as it is. The more you over react - the more a flimsy case will seem viable to town players.divagreen wrote:Then I as town, seem to always flail. Interesting. Do you think it's because you are newer to the game and are more prone to react the way they want you to?I maintain that I am a scum magnet when I am not playing scum.
I wouldn't put too much weight in prior games. Chances are, most actions here have nothing to do with past games. To dwell on them could apper to be scumtell, in my opinion. And the revenge voting from Irre comment is from the last game we played where she was left alive. I don't feel comfortable voting until everyone has chimed in. Too many quiet or abesnt people so far.
