i don't think so. All we know is ani doesn't want to play mafia this week and wants to be godkilled. Unless the theory is that he hates being scum and only wants to get godkilled when he draws scum then i don't really understand what any of this has to do with the job in hand. Having said that, people's reactions are interesting, eg DP's he must be town

I can't see how questioning the illogical motives of the people on my bw is flail, Feck. What else am I supposed to do?
Pointing these things out will at least leave some markers for people to follow once I'm gone.

Came in with a me so clueless post and then a defence of Gib's new style that read to me like a warning to stop bloody doing it which he promptly did. If one of them is scum I would be willing to put money on the other one being as well

Why would I be advising gib to alter his style? If I were scum I'd just tell him privately. I wouldn't? He plays the way he wants. I'm not in any position to offer advice.

Ok so I'm trying to put this in perspective. Callan has been touchy in the past, but today really seems over the top.

The interesting thing is that she's drawn criticism for her vote on Ani and she hasn't retracted it. I don't care what Ani's done in other games. I am not assuming he's town. I AM assuming that we won't get any more data from him, and we'll have to see what his replacement brings to the table. And it's NOT WAITING for a replacement that looks scummy to me. It looks like a cheap vote that maybe she didn't expect to have to defend.

So is it scummy or townish for her to stick with a vote like this one after being challenged?

yeh i hope i am being selective, you tell me, here's what i've adapted from the debris so far

1. scumhunt scumhunt scumhunt

2. day 1 often consists of town on town bickering escalating into town lynching town

2a. active =/= scummy

2b. scum's dream day1 is to sit back and lol while occasionally stoking the fire to blend in.

2c. some scum WILL vote on the BW, these guys are not aiming to just blend in, they need to see town lynched

2. if people are being scummy lynch them. If town start making allowances for certain players who are 'always like that' then town opens itself up when those people are in fact scum.

3. if someone places a vote that might be a pressure vote intended to get the votee talking do not ask the voter to explain his reasoning. Hey it's just a pressure vote stops it being a pressure vote. Instead wait a while and see who scummily agrees with the voter.

4. don't give a shit about your own life. See 1.Getting closer to the gallows is often where you spot scum. Plus it makes playing the game more fun.

5. posts that look like they've been fussed over and re-edited can be a scumtell.

My vote on Callan is for posting fluff out of the gate.

Oblivion, if you bother to read my posts, you'll find an excellent reason for voting for Ani, but I'll repeat myself: asking to be godkilled does not mean that Ani is town, whatever DP may say to the contrary - he did exactly the same thing yesterday in another game when he was scum. Team play is not his forte.

So - the bw so far:
Zigmen - no good reason.
Oblivion - because she doesn't like my vote
Higgs - because I defend myself!!

I'm damned whatever I do. If I defend myself and question the motives of the people who want me lynched, that's scummy. If I don't bother, that will be scummy too.
Right now I think that Feck is probably the scummiest, as he's the only person so far to question my bw. No, it's not logical, but it's probably true.

nah, that doesn't work. If i was trying some grandiose new shit as scum i woulda run it past my teamies at the start and gotten their feedback. Besides, scum don't use the thread to warn each other so your whole line of reasoning is bs
