I might have made that case if I were scum. The reason I might advance the case is with the idea of buying a town lynch because I'd assume that I would be an early lynch, anyway. I'm usually the 1st or 2nd scum to be lynched or vig killed.

DP's scum game is such that I don't think he'd consider buying one townie lynch with his own.

That's my impression. When I first started playing at ratz he had a statistically improbable run of scum roles. Since then, I've only seen his scum game once or twice.

Also guys...who do we know will target unlikely players for NK (because they are unlikely to be protected) when scum?

It just clicked that the Linus kill actually does point to someone.

Ironclad looks townish for a lot of reasons, but his vote reasons look random and goofy even when I agree that someone looks scummy. I don't get his focus on Mantis at all. He's right for the wrong reasons that I'm going to fuck up this game.

Don't listen to the Hatter, my friends ffs! Again with the distractions, let me reiterate - I have had my thoughts on Ksen from day 1, also Mantisdreamz from the start. Last nights vision leans me toward MDz for dragging to the altar. Ksen is not off the hook, yet.
If we don't pile on MDz or Ksen then I suggest Ob is blocking close votes and is not Jester.

Yea, Ironclad - i'm kind of curious as to what you find so suspicious. I think it's because you had a lynch vote on ksen/find him scummy, then i came along and said i'm not sure about him. So then my take on him - in your perspective, looks fishy. That's all there is to it though. I really wasn't/am not sure.

what worries me most is this tight leeway that we have for a mislynch

I didn't find the jester comment odd. I would have gotten pretty squinty-eyed if NOBODY had raised that possibility.

seemed a little strange.

That plus the kinda long pause from Athene after her first post about my role out, then asking about night chat of all things, and then another pause of over an hour before her next post suggesting we let scum kill me rather than lynch me yesterday. That post, on the face of it seemed to come from a place of town reasoning. But hour pause, while she was still visible at the bottom of the page made me think about what was going on in the scumboard about then. I pointed out the long time plus her constant appearance in the forum and she said something about browser tabs.

My understanding is that if we are inactive for more than 5 minutes, we disappear from the list of people browsing a forum.

If we assume bullets are the scum team of human investigators, which is a pretty safe bet IMO, then Zig's kill method sounds like a non-human did it and thus not scum. I'm leaning town-aligned vig but am not ruling out an SK.

What do you make of the lack of night kill? I'm not too worried about it. Either a vig or an SK could have good reasons to skip a night 1 kill.
