I'm still suspicious of Athene for even considering about a No-lynch there are very very few times when a no-lynch can possibly help town this wasn't one of them .

A no lynch would have kept crumple in the game. I said lynching him was an understandable and good decision, but as Mantis pointed out, the numbers don't look good .. I think we have royally fucked up.

Feck, what do you make of Ironclad's posts?

Just to say, all I got was the same as Irr did one day-1. an invisible force and dreams of winged creatures and towers. I am just thinking this is reinforcing my thoughts and hence my voting.
My post style is me trying to get into the theme, I thought, I hope it isn't too confusing.

yeah, that occurred to me, too. well, if he is, then he's painted a big target on his back today, without giving us enough warm fuzzy to risk a mislynch on his say so.

Scummy-looking: ksen, Athene, Feck (he's on the border between unsure and scummy-looking, could go in either bucket)

Ironclad looks townish for a lot of reasons, but his vote reasons look random and goofy even when I agree that someone looks scummy. I don't get his focus on Mantis at all. He's right for the wrong reasons that I'm going to fuck up this game.

I'm totally down for either a ksen or Athene lynch. And despite UT's request that I not try to get myself lynched today, I'm ok with being the lynch, myself. I'll require convincing of anyone else.

I don't know. He was on here earlier today, and no post from him. His posts haven't been very suspicious, they've been more neat and friendly, and he's making decent points. But - they've mostly consist of a few player analysis's. But, ya - I think Diva's mentioning of him is what is making me rethink. We obviously can't get her to expand on why she thought that. Her fos of him got lost in the jumble of the end of first day.

Another thing - is that I'm trying to narrow it down. I'm comfortable with you, UT being town (for obvious reasons). b.ternarius made several posts that looked like townish frustration at our foses towards her. DP brought up the fact that Aza doesn't usually send block messages against Irre. (Irre thought this would have been a poor case to make as scum). Ironclad looks town.

Aside from the jester reaction that I focused on Charlou for.. she does seem townish . . .

Charlou, not to answer for ksen, but per flavour, zigmen's death is vig or sk. The Old Ones were fine with eating their own worshippers. Someone said 'zombie' but no way would Aza throw a zombie into a Lovecraft game, imo.

It seems there should be a seer to balance this game.

We do play differently to RatSkep here ... actually RatSkep is quite unique in it's interpretation of mafia ime .. and I've played at several sites.

I don't think you're shit at this, but agree raw is closer to it. Can't see that you've messed the game up ... I actually liked your approach .. kinda whimsical playfulness which does hark back to how I remember RatSkep the games I played.

Scum are human investigators from Miskatonic University.

Town are the fishy Dagon worshipping natives of Innsmouth. Lovecraft's alternate reality includes the Old Ones, so could be a vig, but given the insane predilections of Lovecraft's gods, could be a serial killer as well. The one thing zigmen's killer is not, is scum. Scum are humans with guns.

IMO the Old Ones could be town or indie. Either would work with the flavor. And I've seen Lovecraft themed games that featured an Old One Indie. The stories usually have a similar theme. There's a religious cult (not to be confused with a mafia cult) that worships one of the Old Ones as a god. They do ritual sacrifices to the Old One. The Old One is fine with that, but also is predatory toward non-cult humans.

Innsmouth's residents had a closer relationship with their Old One than the other stories I've read. They aren't (entirely?) human, and evidently share ancestry with their Old One. I'm slowly reading the Innsmouth story during this game. I have Aza's link open in a browser tab.

@ Charlou: I have followed her guesses and clue hunting from day 1, I don't like what i've seen. She is or was in league with another imo, most prob Ksen, v small poss Ob. I just 'feel' scum is very likely now. I may be miles off, sure, but with no obvious clues I am simply going with my gut here I suppose. And my gut says Mantis is on Ksen's side, or was/is hiding behind Ksen to avoid the altar. Ksen isn't helping his case, to my mind, from what has been written. He only makes me suspicious.
