Re: Tarot III Day 5 - Atmosphere
good job scum, especially ani, you played a great game of not giving a feck and being clueless.
I'm actually really glad matt won this game as scum. See the thing is matt, that you've said repeatedly that your main concern is your own survival. Well guess what, now that we associate low participation with your scum game, if you want to make it to end game from now on, you have to post. It's just that simple, be a full participant or be lynched, and I think that's exactly what your game needs.
Ob, i think this game was pretty balanced, I think town shot itslef in the foot his game. I just don't see how town could not associate gonzo's mistake with feck's blunder and then start looking for others who fit that pattern.
The only thing that seemed slightly off to me was aza being lynchproof, making us spend 2 days in wifom hell instead of one was pretty bad, but like I said, town lost this one for itself.

So what am I supposed to post when I'm completely clueless?

Re: Tarot III Day 5 - Atmosphere
Typically when I'm vt I have no clue what's going on and can't think of anything to say at all.
Re: Tarot III Day 5 - Atmosphere
Ask questions about others reasoning and votes , point out any thoughts you do have , Rattle some cages , sledge someone, vote for someone and see how they react or my favourite vote to lynch DP he's scumMattShizzle wrote:So what am I supposed to post when I'm completely clueless?

Usually I literally have no thoughts as to what's going on.

I like to play. I'll probably get better as I get to know people here. I only know some from TR (as I don't know everyone's name who uses a different one here.) I am hoping to get about 16 people when I run the Wasteland game.

biscotti flavoured baileys is actually rather nice. Not as sweet as regular baileys.
I did that thing again where I end up focussing on people being subtle, and ignore stinking great obvious scum tells as being too obvious. It worked to get feck but I had a complete blindspot as far as ani and matt were concerned. Oh well, we live and learn.
I'm glad for your sake you flipped scum matt.

I answered this in the post just above yours. the short answer is "yes", though it could have happened multiple times, depending on which influence cards came up in the random draws.charlou wrote:Question ... was Az the only player not to be told of tarot card flavour influence over his game?

Yes, but what has that got to do with mafia?Feck wrote:Athene wrote:biscotti flavoured baileys is actually rather nice. Not as sweet as regular baileys.

Tarot III Day 5 - Atmosphere
maybe a few rehearsed starter questions, as feck said. Variations on...MattShizzle wrote:Typically when I'm vt I have no clue what's going on and can't think of anything to say at all.
Xxx, what do you think of yyy?
How many scum do you think there would be in a game of this size?
Why do you think they chose xxx for the kill?
Plus lots more...
And don't worry if you think you know the answer. Ask anyway. See if the way the person responds gives anything more to go on. And insist they answer.
This game was the Matt scum game. I'm afraid you can't simply say its your vanilla game any more because it got you through as scum unscathed.
