Re: Timebomb Day 2
I wondering if scum can move points off of people they think are vanilla to people they think are specials? I think points were subtracted from me and UT (plus 5 more points) and put on charlou and oblivion. Does that sound right?
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.
Re: Timebomb Day 2
praying why the complaining about board features and edits and shit? Are you playing this game or what?

Re: Timebomb Day 2
GM EDIT in red indicates that Zigmen, the GM, made the edit, not the person who made the post. When I read through the thread, it looked like Zigmen was using edit to answer questions in the post where the question was asked.praying wrote:Why can ut edit the op if he is playing? Re: Timebomb Day 2
I think both scum and town might have roles that remove points ? It would be analogous to the Doc roles just as 4 point additions seem to be analogous to Vig or SK roles .Gonzo wrote:I wondering if scum can move points off of people they think are vanilla to people they think are specials? Give me the wine , I don't need the bread
Re: Timebomb Day 2
At least some of the point-moving has to be town. otherwise this game is freaking stacked in favor of scum. I don't think Zigmen would do that intentionally, and he's an experienced GM. This game design is innovative, so there may be unforseen consequences, but I have to believe that the GM's intent is an even playing field.Gonzo wrote:I wondering if scum can move points off of people they think are vanilla to people they think are specials? Re: Timebomb Day 2
Still no word from Aza, but he was online. I'd like to hear more from Irre. I find it it strange that her only observation after going through the whole game was a meta change in my gameplay. A good way to drop a vote and leave while only a few others could make that comparison between my FF play and here. (She did that to me the last game we've played together, too
)
For now...

Who are you suspicious of and why?

I wonder if there is a vig who can redistribute points.oblivion wrote:At least some of the point-moving has to be town. otherwise this game is freaking stacked in favor of scum. Currently suffers from Cassandra's curse.
Re: Timebomb Day 2
I suppose that would be an imbalance, but as long as everyone hasn't yet chimed in yet about their current point distributation, I think it might be possible. UT did you receive a confirmation PM about subtracted points?oblivion wrote:At least some of the point-moving has to be town. otherwise this game is freaking stacked in favor of scum. nope, they were still there in the original op, then gone in the edit. haven't recieved anything that would give a clue about what happened.

Re: Timebomb Day 2
It would probably take a seer view to convince me that you are town. Shit happens, and I may eat my words, but I can't really picture moving you further than "undecided" at this point.Gonzo wrote:Catching up. I went up two points last night, both were from oblivion.
Irre and oblivion, both, I admit my gameplay here is different than on FF, but so are the game mechanics and individual circumstances so it's hard to answer to that. In one instance we have a timed game, in the other marathon games. In one instance I've known and played with everyone for over a year, here I'm just getting to understand how people play. As town it's harder for me to discern what's common in another person's gameplay as opposed to a change in meta. So I am trying to adapt some.
After playing a scum game with you here, where I saw both your in-game play and some of your thought process in the writeboard discussions, the contrast with your game at FF was pretty stark. However, I know firsthand how playing on strange turf with a lot of unknown players makes a town player cautious, but there is still alignment --> motivation --> posting behavior to consider.
And I think your posts today do look a little more townish than what I read yesterday.

Re: Timebomb Day 2
gonzo is looking a little buetter today, but I still wouldn't mind seeing him hovering around the armed pint for a few days so we can watch him.

Re: Timebomb Day 2
gib said something yesterday that made me feel he was town. I'm just catching up on it all now. Just finished a really stressful recruiting mafia game. Diva.oblivion wrote:Feck - 0 (UT)

With what we have so far, I'm comfortable with Mantis, Gonzo or both being armed today, though I think we need to pile on more than the minimum needed to get someone to 6 points if we feel strongly that they are scum.
Mantis, you would have voted for gib yesterday according to your after-nightfall post. Why? And what makes UT a better lynch today. You're always a bit contrarian, but you've targeted 2 players so far that at least some other players feel look pretty townish.
