Re: Spooks, Day 8
I got to go to work. It was a great game to be part of. Thanks for keeping me around long enough to learn something useful.

Re: Spooks, Day 8
I don't think there were any absentee players as such - several players were severely handicapped by the timing of the rounds. Sifaka and I are in NZ, several others are in Oz... the Aussies just can't post late in the day rounds on this schedules, Sifaka usually couldn't, I only tended to get on with half an hour to go maximum.
This is not a complaint, as I am sure the same thing happens to NH players in games run by SH people, but you have to be aware of this before labelling people as rudely abandoning the game.
And I agree about Skinny... we're used to a game which is more about just having a laugh rather than getting too serious about tells and voting patterns (although they're still a big part of it).
Finally - I really don't like subbing in new players, I don't think it's fair. I think if a person can't really participate, they should just be left there as a drone - and tough shit on their teammates if it means they have unused powers or votes.

Blip I've got to ask
A) how did you know I changed my online status?
B) How come you didn't try and pull oblivion into a voting block against me?

I hope 'dress down' means something different to you than it does to me, J.A .J.A.Poisson wrote:A lot of this will be in my dress down for town tomorrow.

Thanks to J.A.P. I thought it was well designed given that I have nothing to compare it too.
And, Oblivion, I have picked up some useful tips from you.

a) I looked. Oblivion always posted with her online status hidden too: like I said, I should have gone with my gut instincts

b) Because you fooled me and I went for Ani instead. Whatever others may say, that last vote of yours for Oblivion was the killer move for you guys

That's what it means to me too. I don't wholeheartedly join in light-hearted games to be bollocked, shouted at, pointed at or laughed atJ.A.Poisson wrote:Bollocking, shout at, point and laugh at all the flaws of.....Blip wrote: I hope 'dress down' means something different to you than it does to me, J.A .

Just sayin' as I'm sure you're just joshin'

Thanks for organising this - I know it takes a lot of commitment and work - and once again my apologies to my team mates and my sincere congratulations to a dastardly cunning winning team

Re: Spooks, Day 8
We'd talked about it earlier as a way to get me into the final day. Most of the ideas were from Oblivion, she definitely was one of the best players here. If magicziggy thought he learned a lot this game, just wait until he's on her team sometime.Blip wrote:Uselesstwit wrote:Blip I've got to ask
