Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 3

The knife thing seems obvious. 2 knives. Aza's knife hit Praying. The second knife seems like a red herring because the kill was made by a hammer.

yesterday's Scum kill was a siege bolt, and today it was a hammer?

Maybe. Maybe not.

Concerning Irre, who has stated that she is Two-edged:

Also there is this...

Concerning the Sunfolk:

So that leaves me to believe that MZ was killed with a "benign" (hee hee) weapon only with con-town motivations?

Hhhmmm...

Zigmen, why would you think that the knife was red herring? Why would you think that it did not kill him? Why are you assuming it was the hammer?

Considering the knife was buried in his chest I would say that was a fair assumption
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I think the ornate knife seemed a lot like it came from Aza until I noticed that Aza's knife did actually strike Praying. I had to read it a few times, and it seems a few others were nearly tricked as well. Whether it was the kill weapon or not seems academic because of the presence of the broken silver hammer. I think the killer attacked MZ with the hammer and MZ suicided using the ornate knife rather than be bludgeoned, On second read, though, I suppose the knife might have been the kill weapon and MZ tried to defend himself with the hammer, but failed.

In any case, there were two weapons at the scene of MZ's death, but neither of them was Aza's knife, which was the main point i was trying to make.

You're the one who told Diva that the ornate knife in MZ's chest came from Aza.

Why are you suspicious of someone trying to correct your mistake?

I had a 1 shot night kill last night.

Is a go back an Indie, or town compatable at all?
Your list of reads had me, praying, DP, and maybe diva as scummy? Did you reevaluate that later or did you go after a relatively quiet one?

I had added Mantis to a later list and as the evening progressed I became more sus.

I think you need viewed Linus as you can be an asset to town but dangerous scum.

Not quibbling with you Zigmen, especially since I am fairly certain we are on the same side, but I think we lost the ability to have a double vote (hammer).

I think MZ was killed with the knife.

I think that there is a clue with the knife.

Aza's story seems to check out.

The hammer as a double vote prop makes sense. Nice catch.

Why would you vote before hearing from the Seer?
