Day 3 is up. Babies needing feeding is unfortunately more pressing than the daybreak post
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

She warned you it would be "quick". Didn't realise she meant quick like a lightning-strike...

It was great. I loved the way people dying off one by one kicked people into action and risk taking.

Classic.

I love risks. I need to devise a game where people are forced to take risks and make active decisions.

How would such a game work?

Hmm. That would require a LOT of commitment from players.
If you're going to set strictly planned deadlines for actions within rounds as well as at the end of them - which is essentially what you're asking for - then you need to be certain that your players are going to be committed enough to be online at those particular times. Many of us find it difficult enough to make sure we're around at the start and end of rounds!
You'd be looking at something akin to the Resistance game, which was great fun but a) a lot of work in terms of GMing and b) demanded a great deal from its players.
But when you get some players complaining about the "dreadful burden" of a compulsory lynch vote, it's hard to see how a game with even more exacting requirements would go down. Not well, is my guess.

I was thinking of a game where no one could be lynched unless a unanimous vote was reached :dp:

Probably far too evil to do and probably no one would go for it as it means being ruthless on an unprecedented scale.
