Feck was pretty irate at the no lynch. That reads town to me.

Those two sentences read as contradictory ... Can you elaborate/clarify please?Adenosine wrote:What I'm not seeing is a irre-DP collusion to get irre through to endgame. It doesn't make sense since DP agreed with irre to take one for the team.

it's starting to seem like several of us have pretty decently long lists of people that feel town. maybe we should compile them and see how many aren't on any of ours.

It reads like town Feck ... when he's town and town make a move he thinks is failing he's sarcastic ... when he's scum and town make a fail move ... he gloats later.Adenosine wrote:Feck was pretty irate at the no lynch. That reads town to me.
It annoyed Az, too. And MZ to a lesser degree (imv) ... his "annoyance" tempered by the fact he was one of the players to vote no lynch.

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
Okay, in thread irre asked DP to take one for the team (read: town). If they were both scum irre wouldn't have done that in thread, she would have thrown DP under the bus as the nearest lynch candidate to "save" the doc. In private, on the writeboard she may have cleared it with DP but why do it in game? Especially if DP flips scum then irre doesn't get a clear run. Because why would scum agree to "take one for the team" if it would mean that their bussing scum buddy would also go down.
However, you weren't looking that healthy at all. In the final wash you only survived because MZ was mayor, 4 to 4.5. There was still a reasonable expectation that you may have been lynched and DP (and maybe irre) had already crunched some numbers and were feeling fairly safe that DP wouldn't go.

Bump, irre. I'm asking you because you seem to have a bit better handle on UT's gameplay.charlou wrote:UT's "followyness" strikes me as trying to find some townies to hang with? He's made some independent observations which, when I took a closer look have rung a chord ... Is this town play ... or extremely subtle manipulation? irre, what do you think?

Where did you go amok?charlou wrote:So you're moving from a focus on a null traitor issue to the "no lynch" issue that the rest of us seem to have moved on from.amok wrote:I'm reading. I've also been drinking a little bit this evening, unfortunately.charlou wrote:amok ... I want to see you get into the game and scum hunt/ work things through the way you did in that game where you earned mvp. Until then it's really difficult to get a read, and I'd really like some gameplay to base my read on.
I'm a bit wary of trying to work things out today, under the circumstance. Not to mention that because I apparently went off enough on a flavour tangent yesterday to almost break the game.
I'm trying to find the other game where a "No Lynch" was an active option, rather than just unvoting. I know I read it somewhere, and I've only played here and at RatSkep.
amok, what do you think of all the players so far? Can you post a list of most town to least town/scummiest please?

I trust charlou, DP and Feck pretty well right now. But my town appraisal should be taken with a grain of salt.
Nobody expects me...

I'm going to bed. Will be back before nightfall
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

God I hate making this kind of list, especially with subs and extra players tossed in.charlou wrote:What is your list, b.ter ... most town to least town/scummiest?b.ternarius wrote:Yeah, adenosine, I lynch voted andrew, and people wer all 'ooo poor newb, give 'im a chance!' so I made an effort to see that pov and help him out. Most to least townish:
Charlou - outed doc
Amok - can't see her as scum, with the confused posts etc.
DP - I buy his willingness to take a bullet for charlou (so sweet!

Irre - Got a good town feeling is all, played a few games with her now ans seems like town Irre.
Feck - hasn't posted much but I agreed with the posts he made, for the most part.
Gib - town Gib, cheerily trying to make town friends, I think
MZ - Dunno, seems townish as hell, usual flip-flop style - don't think I've ever played a game with MZ where he wasn't town, but there's always a first time.
UT - Nothing pinged, but I should re-read his posts
Matt - calmer than usual, townish
Contra - Dunno, really. I was a bit sus. of Athene tbh
zigmen - started the game late, seems less interested than usual
Adenosine - trolly tracking me a bit, which always bugs me and makes me think scum trying to out specials, maybe.
Az - really pinging - playing oblivion? Funny, but why would az sign on for a mafia game when he knew he'd be too involved in something else?
andrewclunn - really really not townish at all, newb or not.
D'I miss anyone?
