I was visited by an alluring young woman and had a wonderful night last night . . . I was also blocked in this game.
Who else has claimed to be blocked?
It was me, CJ and someone else that I can't remember.

I went back and looked and in the opening post of
Day 2 there was no mention of a Hunter-Seeker kill method and that was the night AshtonBlack was recruited so I think it is safe to say there were no recruits last night.

I have been going through the thread (not thoroughly) and I have a slightly rotten feel about how the lynch votes went yesterday. I think the ones who voted for Animavore should be studiesd more in depth. Their reasons should be considered, and the timing of their votes. Maybe with a comparison to previous lynch votes for innocents. This could give us more of an indication for where the bad apples may be.
Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Thanks for finding it Sifaka. Damn . . . I was hoping to be able to have the beginnings of a little cleared group.
Ok group, if you have not posted an unambiguous "I am Town" for 95theses to examine please do so.
I suspect he will be he next NK followed by myself since right now we are the only two cleared people.

I've made a list for two of the lynchings. Just with the ones who voted. To make this a useful tool it should be bolstered with reasons for the votes, timing and unvotings.
Votes for Animavore when he got lynched:
ksen
95theses
sifaka
DP
Ghatanothoa
Irre retracted her vote for Ani. This puts her in a good light.
Votes for I_pity_the_fool when he got lynched:
Mantisdreamz
Irreligionist
CookieJohn (innocent)
DP
Animavore (innocent)

I've been trying to wade through the thread again and came across some minor issues. Mainly this rather defensive position of 95theses:
Normal wrote:95Theses wrote:Normal wrote:95Theses wrote:Normal wrote:
What? Why haven't you used your powers yet? Already yesterday you stated you had them!

I used them yesterday, i haven't used them yet today.
It wouldn't be much of a game if I could test every single post everyone makes now would it? I'd just stick up a list of all the town and scum now and the game would be over.
There are some limits to my powers.
What did you use them for yesterday, then? What are the limits?
How about you make a statement about whose side you are on and I'll demonstrate them?
I did that yesterday. I said "I am town" or something like that. How about you tell us what you found out yesterday instead of stalling? And what are the limits?
95Theses wrote:

And why would I post the limits of my powers here on the open thread for the scum to read ?
This defensive attitude seems very suspicious to me, especially when I consider CookieJon's questioning of 95theses role by saying he was "THE seer" (can't find that post, help?).
While it makes me suspicious, I'm not suggesting we lynch 95theses, but I think when we look at what votes have been done for lynching innocent people, we keep the thought at the back of our mind.
Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Normal, why are you focusing on 95theses?
Do you think he's not really a lie-detector?
Have you said "I am town" yet?

I am unsure of it. I also become more suspicious now that you ask me that (since you're cleared) and I stated it both in the quote I presented just now and earlier in the thread.

There's a list here:
http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 53#p384453 of all the posts from people saying they are town,
each quote is a link to the original post.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

There are others I suspect, but I can't put my finger on it, and wading through the posts is hard work when trying to piece together coherent info.
