If she's scum I think it's uber insulting to then conclude I'm scum. I would never (and have never) colluded chummily like that with scum, I'd never be able to wash the slime off of me if I did. Plus, it's a little... elementary, no?Adenosine wrote::pennydrop:irretating wrote:Oi! It just dawned on me that you think I'm scum, too, ade :colbert:
I think b.tern is town, my notes on her from yesterday are: "admitting to joining the vote MZ as mayor crowd… not do this as scum, nor is voting andrew"
The exchange that you think pings hardest is b.tern acknowledging that we were on the same scum team recently. Well that's what I thought of it, anyway.
You've gone to a fair bit of trouble to make the case, so I'll have another think about her.
BTW agree on andrew looking german
Yup, if b.tern flips scum I'm voting for you tomorrow.
It's a bloody thin premise to label someone town on on day one isn't it? That meta- speaking she wouldn't follow on a mayor vote nor would she pick the soft target?

Yep, nobody read the OP properly it looks like.gib wrote:i think it was odd when people said he was town for publicising that there was a traitor - even i read the OP
so i had that in mind on the reread (which i'll prolly get back to at some point) and yet his game seemed to match up pretty well with that one here recently, the one where ob was scum. Not a strong read either way tho
Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
Athene blended in. Good scum strategy or genuine town? I don't know yet. I can't read Contra at all. We tend to clash in Mafia so that will be interesting when he starts playing.Magicziggy wrote:Hi Adenosine.
Since you've just done a read through, can I get your take on Athene/Contra.
She is most people's town pile.
Your case on b.t looks a little contrived with the commentary. I made my mind up about DP yesterday and could have put a case against him on that basis. I restrained myself and decided to just vote and let it fly.
However, the girl's club stuff between b.t and Irre did make me double take. Didn;t seem that scummy though.
I'll have a think about it.
What do you make of Andrew. I'm thinking traitor, but I'm really after the scum that I think he's trying to make us avoid lynching.
mega xpost
wrt the b.tern case commentary I didn't want to just leave the posts hanging. I wanted people to see what I saw and to follow my thought processes. Quotes without comments aren't town-friendly.
I didn't see the irre-b.tern dialogue as girls club, I saw it as weird and scummy especially as I had just seen b.tern do nothing that I could claim was pro-town.
I don't know about Andrew. There's a major culture clash here. We'll see what happens over the next few days, whether he adjusts to playing our way and brings new skills or whether he gets himself lynched by pushing a stance that doesn't work.
Ignore me, I'm just here for the Mafia.

I think Adenosine has given us an object lesson in how to look town from the word go.
You have probably followed the game and already reached some conclusions by observing.
I can't really find flaw in what you've posted.
From which mafia dimension do you hail?

But that's the problem isn't it? Everyone knows you (plural) don't collude when you're scum so when someone backs another player up we think "ok, town play" and move on. Scum don't do the predictable.irretating wrote:If she's scum I think it's uber insulting to then conclude I'm scum. Yes my thoughts are the same.gib wrote:i think it was odd when people said he was town for publicising that there was a traitor - even i read the OP

We didn't get a lynch yesterday, but the flopping onto the MZ mayor BW is interesting. Aza votes first, based on meta, then shizz agrees (which, if not paying huge attention to the OP and flavour seems ok-ish), then andrew most wholeheartedly absolutely agrees. Hmm. UT hopping on really seemed weird, and it'll take some town play from him to convince he of his town creds. Charlou hopped on, after all the brouhaha about me not hopping on (but we've moved on from that, I think) and then b.tern hopped on.
This is another reason I don't see b.tern as scum.

Re: Contra.
Gonzo's last game. Scum team, DP (Don), Aza, Contra. I subbed in for DP.
It was contra's first scum game. He was a little at sea I think

Basic training at Freethought-Forum then tempered in the fires of TR before a brief stint here and at RatSkep. Then uni took over and I cut back to one game of Mafia. One game, four months old, only just started day four.Magicziggy wrote:I think Adenosine has given us an object lesson in how to look town from the word go.

dunno, as scum I think he'd make the effort to list everyone, not just say 'who else is there'Uselesstwit wrote:him leaving feck, btern and dp off concerns me more than the people he did list.irretating wrote:You think MZ looks ok, I'm not so sure.gib wrote:clunny is town, he's trying to use the town tool from whatever celtic mafia he plays thereUselesstwit wrote:so gib, who are your town and scum picks so far?

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
see that's the thing, I got a good clean look at his town game last time. He seemed random most days but when you went back and looked, he'd start a line of reasoning and see where it led then suddendly shift to someone else, Mz then would watch for reactions both to the switch and to the pressure. I'm just not seeing that this game.gib wrote:i think it was odd when people said he was town for publicising that there was a traitor - even i read the OP

yes unless he's going for relaxed. still he usually pays attention to feck, and with b.tern's behavior yesterday and dp volunteering for the lynch i'd expect some mention of them.irretating wrote:dunno, as scum I think he'd make the effort to list everyone, not just say 'who else is there'Uselesstwit wrote:him leaving feck, btern and dp off concerns me more than the people he did list.irretating wrote:You think MZ looks ok, I'm not so sure.gib wrote:clunny is town, he's trying to use the town tool from whatever celtic mafia he plays thereUselesstwit wrote:so gib, who are your town and scum picks so far?
