What triggered my train of thought was the fact he did a very similar thing in the Stargate game, we were scum buddies and I was the scum on the bw.

"E"?

OK, that's useful. I skimmed through lots of pages of the Stargate game looking for posts by you and rc. Looks you were both very quiet, maybe you entered the game on day 3, lol... Didn't see the part you mention, I guess it's towards the end, but note the general assessment of both of you seems to have been along the lines of very quiet but protown.

Will try to check more later, I have to log off soon and will probably not come back before nightfall.

If you sort by author, you can look at r.c's posts altogether.

read the OP again ..slowly .
Explain. For example, how do you interpret "you think you may have spotted the cause of the missing landscape; a filthy old piece of luggage"?

Is that question for Feck or for me?

Maybe I read too quickly or maybe I'm looking for a too close analogy... I found posts expressing a preference to lynch you or Higgs2, though the reasoning didn't appear quite as idealized as adopting the working assumption that there's exactly N scum on the mantis BW is in this game.

It's a question for Feck, but it will do no harm if others answer.

r.c.'s posts are pretty thin on RatSkep. Always tough to tell either way.

To hide in the numbers may be or to start the bw. Initially I thought there would have been 2 scum in the bw but since Ob was Nk'd I think there is only one. Ok a lot of talk about me being fixated on Mantis bw. I feel that voting patterns are the biggest clue in trying to identify scum. That is the only tangible thing that I can work on. Trying to judge a player's alignment by gauging their response to questions is not something I'm good at.

OK. I'm going to answer why I'm quite sure that Oblivion was killed by Scum, but on re-thinking I understand why people might have thought UT made himself a bomb. As I said, I haven't read the books, so the first thing I did was check this site:

http://wiki.lspace.org/wiki/The_Luggage

...which says, among other things:
... the Luggage often just tears through a place leaving a wake of destruction and completely swallowing everything in its path...
That, combined with Zigmen's use of the phrase "the cause of the missing landscape" strongly suggests to me that Oblivion ate UT (and a chunk of the road). And that Oblivion was killed by Scum. They'd only have known at that point that she wasn't Scum, and Oblivion would be way high on the list of get-rid-ofs for any sensible Scum team.

I had immediately put KSen, Mattshizzle and MZ on my Scum list for pushing the "no Scum kill" theory, but I'm backing off from that now because I see where it was coming from.

From what I've seen at TR including games where I was scum sometimes scum is reluctant to nk people seen as better players because
1. They're likely to be protected and
2. They can create wifom with "why is ____" still alive?

Of course maybe they did kill her. Not sure if that's good or bad. She had already as a sk that was town compatable helped town.

but if the lynch was going through anyway then Scum would have avoided the BW like the plague ! scum don't want to be seen on town lynching BWs

That would sort of clear Barnett and Ksen. And since I know I'm Town, that only leaves Irre.

I just can't wrap my head around Irre bringing up the win condition thing as Scum, especially since it was so, well, you know.

Anyone reading, what do you think of this. Is this really odd? I realize MattShizzle has a bit of reputation, but is this even too odd for that?
