I'm starting to think you might be a jester
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I don't get what you gain by doing this, whether you are scum or town...
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. No, but most of what I post is carefully crafted to generate some discussion.

Ok, not carefully crafted. But your responses are all information for me.
Jester, eh? That'd be a good way to protect myself wouldn't it. Never thought of that before. One to bare in mind for the future.

It seems like it would have been easier than this to get lynched. I'm with sciencerob it can't help any team.

I gain your responses.
Remember, I don't actually know who is town and who is scum.
I need information.
My vote on themaneki is not as cast iron as I thought. But it's there for now.

yeah, fool and jester are the same. They win if they get themselves lynched. Stupid role

A Jester is a role which wins when they are lynched. They generally cause difficulty for the Town in two ways. First, because (while the Jester is alive) they aim to prevent the Town from lynching Scum. Second, because their attempts to get themselves lynched inevitably involve trying to convince the Town that they are Scum, and thereby cause confusion and distraction for as long as they are alive.

In most games containing Jesters, if the Jester is lynched before any other faction has won, the game will usually continue to determine who else wins. In some cases, the other winners come in second place, instead of winning together. In a very small game, if a Jester is lynched, it may end the game.

Often a Jester role also involves a Post Restriction, so that it is not too easy for the Jester to get themselves lynched.

A variation of this role is the Kamikaze or Suicide Bomber, where the player that casts the deciding vote dies along with the lynchee.
In games I've played that had jesters, the jester had a win condition of getting lynched on a specific day. If they couldn't accomplish that, they lost.

Let's move on and lynch some scum.
Get the jester out of your head.
I'm thinking UT now.

Aligning with sciencerob's opinion seems odd that's all.
UT forms opinions on his own.
Not sure why he's forming that alliance, except that it's likely to get sciencerob on his side.

or it could be that you were posting nonsense that was a distraction and sciencerob just beat me to pointing it out. Forming my own opinions doesn't stop me from agreeing with people.

that's pretty slim evidence of scumminess, especially what he was agreeing with. If I had been faster, I might have said something similar.

MZ is starting to look suspicious to me. Not enough to vote for him today(or tomorrow) probably but just overall blind finger pointing seems a bit out of character.

Anything that get's people talking is good.
If it's nonsense, ignore it. Surely you can skip over a post or two of nonsense.

Anyway, it's not nonsense. People have genuine reasons to vote for me.
I'm only voicing what is obvious to everyone.
There are scum out there. The voting is spread widely.
Something has to be done to flush scum out.
Something has to be done to identify town more clearly (for me).
If I can see clearly who is town, I will more likely follow their vote, because I'm not convinced about anybody right now.
Clutching at straws comes to mind.
