Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
The action I understand it's the motive for it that bothers me. Why not try to convince people of mz's guilt? Wouldn't that have been the smarter choice? Yet you really didn't try that, did you?

I'm not sure what to make of Aza either. I go back and forth about him.
I'm kinda iffy about charlou and mantis. I want to go back and look at their posts more closely tonight.
With Callan, it came down to worrying that she'll be a cipher for days if she didn't come back. I thought about whether she'd be godkilled, but it came to me too late to really do anything besides throw the question to Irre near the end of the day. feck has at least been here and answering questions. and his bandwagon may give us something to think about after another card flip or two.

This post has made the most sense so far.Uselesstwit wrote:There were several things today that bothered me.
Aza, who seems to have no doubt about mz's guilt, switches his vote off of mz to protect feck?
Oblivion, who goes for mz right off the bat, then switches to denny claiming they seem to be working together also ends up on callan's bw. Even though callan didn't post today so their minds should have been made up about her yesterday.
Feck, I've said enough about, but I will say that he put his vote down once again very early and didn't budge it. Not looking to me like he's considering the possibilities.
All three of these people seem off to me. More so then the rest.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
Well I feel not much wiser for that to be honest.
I did find UT to be the one to make the most insightful comment, whereas others seemed genuinely confused.
Aza is certain about me though. I'm surprised he didn't go after me harder in that case.
I'm not seeing Feck as scum. In the recent game I played, he was much less jumpy as scum. In fact if he is scum, he's added jumpiness to his game.
Oblivion, I see as the overload pulling the strings. Is she town or scum? I'd bet town for no other reason than she'd have been viewed.
Mantis is making little comments here and there that don't amount to much.
DP has justified his vote on Feck, but I diasgaree on his read. I am starting to get to grips that Feck has a scum game. If DP is seeing this, I'd like to know exactly what he sees. Because I'm not seeing it.
Charlou is experiencing the same morning timezone conflict as me. And guess what. We are in exactly the same time zone. It's genuine.
Anyone else I can't remember. Oh yes Denny. More townish in the sense he's being quite vocal about saving himself. I think as scum he'd play it cooler. I may have vote switched if I'd had the chance. Not sure where to though. Kind of agree with Aza's reasoning though about ensuring a player he thinks is town was safe. Just not sure about Aza himself as he's wrong about me.
Back to work. I'll be back to add a few more thoughts in a few hours when I get home.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
If I'm the overlord town needs help, because I feel like scum are hiding in the corners this game while the louder players beat each other up.
I guess that means my biggest concerns are around Squid, mantis, possibly DP, Aza and maybe Charlou.
I'm glad some of you feel confident of feck. I sure don't, but that's p typical for me. Once in a while there's a game where I think he's town and I'm right.

It's also bothering me a bit that higgs2 doesn't seem to have many concerns about whether I am town.

Going home now. Will re-read the thread when I get home.
I'm not confident of Feck. I'm asking the question about his scum game.
Either he's unreadable or there is a clear difference between the two.
I''ve pointed out the only thing I've picked up on. What do others think?

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
When I was vig last game I was faced with the choice of killing off a player during the night round.
Three times I got it wrong, which I would suggest is pretty bloody poor.
When I was trying to figure out who to knock off, I tried to eliminate those players I felt were genuinely helping town.
In this game I'm finding that process hard.
UT is the one with the most direct questions and analysis and I would rank him the most town atm.
Oblivion is beginning to sound a bit confused, which is not unusual. She's not really settled on a particular theory. Who played scum with Oblivion last game? Higgs wasn't it? Anyone who was on her team would have some insight.
Feck is not really playing pro town - except he's making a bold play to have me lynched. But then again his scum game probably does look more townish than his town game.
Mantis: I know she's supposed to be really good at being scum but I can't remember having played scum with her, except maybe once at Ratskep. Over rated I think, but still hard to read. She's not really leaving much for me to call as scum or town. Her analysis is pretty thin.
Some players simply skate under the radar. Aza and DP worry the hell out of me. Both on a mission, convinced about the guilt of one particular player. Aza either knows he's wrong or is just barking up the wrong tree.
Denny was my pick for yesterday. I haven't been proved wrong yet. He seemed pretty sure about my innocence and I can't fathom that. I may have to thinnk again about him.
And anyone else hasn't registered, so for completeness I'm going to check the list.
Zigmen. Practically invisible to me. I don't know why. His posts are usually short and too the point. Seems pretty genuine in scum hunting but just a bit thin on the ground, as if this game is one of about 12 he's playing simultaenously. One thing did strike me though was his comment about scum needing to figure out why no scum kill. I found that comment weird only because it's obvious.
Squid. Lack of interest? Made a fair contribution during night 1, but no interaction to speak of.
Charlou. I mentioned her TZ thing. But contributions have been a bit thin. I think she mentioned before about not really posting much until after day 2. We'll see.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
And Higgs. Forgot Higgs because I mentioned her in relation to Oblivion. Higgs I put on a par to zigmen this game. Not really standing out one way or another. Is making some insightful comments.
Anyone else? If I was the vig right now, I'd take out DP. I think he's been playing on the Feck meme for too long now. But you can take it as red that I'd be wrong because I always am.

Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 3

You nervously gather in the morning, having slept fitfully. Oblivion is no long among your number, having been rounded on by evil forces, only to realise she was already dead. Determined to be an overlord elsewhere, she had wandered off. Oblivion was vanilla town. You notice charlou's absence, too; you feel far more vulnerable now. Charlou had been your esteemed and softly spoken paranoid doctor. She did the best she could to protect you all, but one of you had nudged her to the realisation that she was already dead.
The day will end 24 hours from now. You need to vote in a new mayor.
The living:
1. Denny
2. Zigmen
4. Feck
5. MZ
6. Aza
8. UT
9. Mantis
10. Squid
11. DP
14. higgs
The not living:
13. Gib - vanilla town
3. Nellikin - vanilla town
15. Callan - vanilla town
12. oblivion - vanilla town
7. charlou - town's paranoid doctor
Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Day 2
I'd love to know what Charlou's actions were on night one !
Mz, Aza and I are not wrong ..the avalanche of your 'helpful' posts just makes me more certain this is your scum game .
I'm also suspicious of Denny Zigmen Squid

I think I'm moving Squid back to the top of my list. Does not seem to be scum hunting and only replies when the heat is on.
Vote Squid
Mantis,Zigmen are you town?
