UT, I thought that as well. It didn't make sense for Denny to lie if he was scum.
What changed my mind was Denny FoSing you and I for protecting DP.
That tells me that either Denny does not understand how bad a play DP would have had to have made to falsely claim Vig, or that Denny is flailing.
It looks more like a flail, because the Denny I know would not be blind to the idea that DP really could not be scum (at least not a good scum).

The whole trick to D_'s claim is its a 1 shot vig. Very easy for scum to claim the 1 shot asdect.

it doesn't matter how many shot's he's claiming, being silent would have been much better than claiming something he didn't do.

I can't see Cap'n P. having a vanilla role. I don't understand why the outing in the first place. Didn't Q say that everyone was going to look like Picard and we had to figure out who was who?

"I have taken the liberty of reconfiguring your holodeck for this game. You and your crew are locked inside with a few of your worst enemies. Not so bad, you think? Think again. They all look exactly like you. A whole ship's worth -- and MORE! -- of you, my little martinet! We won't need those silly little safety overrides preventing anyone from being killed, will we?"

Yes. They all look exactly like me

Fwiw, I was a one shot day-killer in the first role-up.DennyB wrote:The whole trick to D_'s claim is its a 1 shot vig. Very easy for scum to claim the 1 shot asdect.

I can see picard being vanilla more than I can see him being scum or not being included.higgs2 wrote:I can't see Cap'n P. having a vanilla role. I don't understand why the outing in the first place. Didn't Q say that everyone was going to look like Picard and we had to figure out who was who?

It was a hunch, plain and simple.Uselesstwit wrote:so why does charlou have to be town then? if she's telling the truth it just means that someone protected her, but not against anything since the scum kill was MZ.
dp we really need to know your reasoning for targeting ghat now.
I had one shot, I figured I might as well use it night one in case I didn't make it to day two, I wrote the PM, and when I got to the target I decided that Ghat made the most sense. He was the player who could do most damage to town if he was scum.
Denny, I don't know why your protection didn't go through. Could be the order of night actions, could be that more than one person targeted Ghat, we'll find out after the game.
And since I'm powerless now I can out as being Ani's number one.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I got the same role both times round, with a different character. I was Tasha in the first iteration.Zigmen wrote:Fwiw, I was a one shot day-killer in the first role-up.DennyB wrote:The whole trick to D_'s claim is its a 1 shot vig. Very easy for scum to claim the 1 shot asdect.
I also got the scum group PM which is what broke the game, and my current character was one of the safe name claims for scum that time.

DP, you're Riker?
Do you specifically know that Ani is Picard? Ot just guessing based on Ani's claim?
