If it's a baseless hunch, keep it to yourself. If you are suspicious, then it is based on something. And maybe its because I'm new to this game but what qualifies as a fully town post? Do you want me to cast my suspicions out when I think they are nothing more than baseless hunches?

Baseless hunches you can keep to yourself, but any suspicions based on what/how someone has posted and why/when someone has voted, are most welcome. Scum tend to either avoid putting too much on the thread, lest it catch up with them, or they simply scatter-gun suspect everyone. Your thoughts and analysis would be appreciated.ScienceRob wrote:I wanted something more solid than simply voting the same way as the group as right now. Re: Zombie Day 2
fair enough you were posting. You are wrong mono. Day one is a day for gaining information. Day one voting patterns often make a lot more sense later in the game. Hiding on day one because you are scared of lynching town is anti-town.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I like them all, but the difference between RatSkep style mafia (lots of witty levity) and ratz mafia (getting down to business) is noteworthy ... and TR has a different style again (still getting a handle on that one![]()

And the scum get the kill anyway, whether we lynch or not. All this has been doing is giving them an extra kill on day one.

Re: Zombie Day 2
We have players to spare. Oblivion has already given a fairly good reason to vote on day 1. It gives information. We could all shut up and say nothing for a week and no one gets hurt. Pretty dull though. We need to prod and probe. Tickle and annoy.mononoke wrote:Ghatanothoa wrote:

ratz mafia has developed into quite a challenging game. the days of role playing until the seer outs are long gone.irretating wrote:Baseless hunches you can keep to yourself, but any suspicions based on what/how someone has posted and why/when someone has voted, are most welcome. No PMs, you say, irre? hmmm ...
mono, you play at RatSkep, don't you?
Last time I played there, many of the RatSkep players were keen advocates of the 'no lynch on day one' notion.oblivion wrote:Jesus Christ.mononoke wrote:Keeping quiet and shooting blind are two different things. Re: Zombie Day 2
Let's not bring Jesus into this, oblivion. He has caused enough trouble. I'm fairly sure he has meet his quota for the next several thousand years.
As for my hunches, even I know enough that we need to vote on people on day 1 or else it means they get a free kill so Mono seems a bit odd to me. I think he is experienced enough to know better, I think.
Ghat also seems a bit odd to me. He thought I was scum(at least his post on page 2ish did) and he seemed rather emphatic about it before quickly changing his vote. Sort of like a slider in the whole modular, slider, dissenter social experiment. Saying that I think it might be my annoyance over being voted on by him that makes me suspicious of him.
And I don't think I need to elaborate on the totals suspicion.

Re: Zombie Day 2
mono is experienced, but a lot of that experience is from ratskep that play a very different kind of mafia. Over there it's a lynch able offense to vote to lynch someone. I know, it's weird.
