Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I was talking to feck, about games here, only ever played one game on tr.Bilirubin wrote:I sure do speak it. English, do you speak it?
Voting you is just common sense, like you voting me early day one most games.
Also what is your TR name so I can know if I really do usually vote you early day one?

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I'm also wondering what's with all the random votes.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1

Stargate SG1 - Day 1
Self voting is scummy by convention, like 3rd or 4th on the bw being scum, rules of thumb are wrong more often than right, irre hasn't posted enough yet for me to read her either way so a mayor vote gets people talking, as does a lynch vote.Bilirubin wrote:yabut answer my question plzDon't Panic wrote:I was talking to feck, about games here, only ever played one game on tr.Bilirubin wrote:I sure do speak it. Plus long threads annoy Matt, today should be at least 20 pages.

But, surprisingly, not so much for the self-vote.
More so for apologizing that she broke Guapo's rule.
The apology seems a bit too glittery.

What sort of votes would not qualify as random on Day 1?MattShizzle wrote:I'm also wondering what's with all the random votes.

Bili, do you think you're onto a conspiracy? DP and who, for example?

Ones with any sort of reasoning behind them. Coming straight out and slapping a random vote on someone before any discussion at all is bullshit.Zigmen wrote:What sort of votes would not qualify as random on Day 1?MattShizzle wrote:I'm also wondering what's with all the random votes.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
If so its pretty hamfisted, wouldn't you say? It just seems odd to on the one hand point out how scummy a behaviour usually is, then blatantly disregard that and support the player. IOW, DP has my attention at the moment, but day one people usually crawl all over people who post, which selects for quieter scum long term.Zigmen wrote:Bili, do you think you're onto a conspiracy? What do you make of that sequence?

My new evolving style pushes me toward figuring out who to trust; something I often overlooked. I asked about the idea of conspiracy to see if you would take the bait to plant wifom. You didn't. You have my trust, for the moment.
What do think of Irre?
