Well, I have to go now, so I'll reserve judgement for when there's more info/speculation to hand.

There's no rule that says I can't change a mayor vote. I'll treat everying thing on it's merits.charlou wrote:MZ, I read your post just as I tried to submit so no-one should read my thoughts about mayor voting as automatic suspicion of your post.
It's where it ends up that counts, not where it starts.
Re: Timebomb Day 1
How long does this go on for ? eventually we would all be armed...Yes
2 players could be armed today FFS
vote fuzzy
also if scum can remove points during the night we are never going to be sure how many players are actually armed ! this is critical we have to kill ALL the scum before the BOOM if one survives we lose .

Re: Timebomb Day 1
So, 13 players, each with a vote, plus the mayor, that's 14 points. Then night actions, let's say a net 1 point, given there seems to be the ability to lose points at night. So 15 points accumulating every day. And the game finishes when the resulting carnage leaves one team a winner. ie, scum has parity or town has eliminated all scum.
Seems reasonable.
So it's not about a player having the most votes, but spreading the votes around. And keeping track of who should be upto 5. Scum must have some ability to knock off votes to baffle us, so whoever we think is scum will need to be over killed. Maybe 7 or 8 votes should do the trick.
As for duration? Three scum? 10 town.
I'll assume no indie. That would be too complicated.
5 days to get the required armed vests?
So even the odd vote accumulated will count.
Hmm... fascinating.

Why fuzzy, feck?
Ok, I can guess why.
I read the TR game peanuts.
Just a friendly welcome.

Re: Timebomb Day 1
My impression is that scum would add points, not remove them ... and that it's town night actions that remove points ... but yeah, we can't be certain where other players are on the point scale.Feck wrote:How long does this go on for ? eventually we would all be armed...Yes

Also, FOS Feck for stating the obvious and for voting to give fuzzy, a player we don't know and who hasn't even made a post this game, two votes.

How did you come to a net one point from night actions? Please explain that deduction, MZ.Magicziggy wrote:So, 13 players, each with a vote, plus the mayor, that's 14 points. Re: Timebomb Day 1
It's a guess.
I'm guessing maybe a couple of town roles that would add points and may be a couple for scum as well. But throw in some kind of protect roles or anything to remove points. It;s ballpark. I think a net add of maybe 1-3 points per night round.

Re: Timebomb Day 1
MZ, why are you assuming the normal town:scum ration for this game? If it plays out the way I understand it does, the ratio would be different ... closer to 50:50, wouldn't it?

Re: Timebomb Day 1
it's 14 players plus an extra mayor one ,that's 15 points a day ?.Also we have no way of verifying a role claim .Holy crap this is going to be complicated (or random ).

Re: Timebomb Day 1
I think it's useful to try to work this out and this seems kinda reasonable. Like I said to Feck, I was thinking that scum night actions add points, and town actions remove them, but yeah, that was maybe a bit simplistic.Magicziggy wrote:It's a guess.

Re: Timebomb Day 1
Scum still have coordination though. Town doesn;t. So their votes don;t hit each other accidentally. Plus they can share their current points total and be sure of the answer. Town can't.charlou wrote:MZ, why are you assuming the normal town:scum ration for this game? In a word, you're right. It;s an assumption. But not 50:50 surely.
Re: Timebomb Day 1
scum need one person to survive ,that's serious disability for town !
