I don't like the way he tries to direct the seer views when he's scum. And that's what his play so far smacks of.

Then he put a safe vote on DP. Nobody gets called for voting DP on day one due to his status as a statistical sport, but it's still a cheap vote. Then he switched to Charlou after she headed for bed, and did so for a specious reason.

If he's town, he's playing a damn sloppy game. If he's scum, he's trailing a miasma of wifom.

Reread his post, SR. He characterized it as doing me a favor and giving me a break Why would he want to give me a break if he's town?

This was what I agreed with Ob about. I hadn't thought of the other reasons.

The reason I brought up the banter issue is because I'm interested in how it works psychologically. I also find it interesting that it can work against it's purpose if you are the one who draws attention to how it might be a scum thing to do. Of course, when you draw attention to it, it's very easy for scum to point and loudly say "my my, what a scummy thing to do" and hide safely behind the fact that I look silly when I draw negative attention to myself.

I realize the risks of drawing negative attention to oneself, and I did it anyway. I might have drawn the public attention of some scum, and I might not. But it's something to keep at the back of your mind for future considerations on who's scum.

I just reread it, doesn't look scummy. I think at least one scum vote is on MZ, probably not two. I think Normal is scummy though, with the spontaneous vote changing with the save and glib remark of "liking their logic."

Nope. make me mayor if you want. Might keep me alive to day 2. Scum worrying about wasting a kill on the mayor on night 1 is the only benefit I see accruing to winding up with the position. People don't trust me, even when I've been viewed, and rightly so.

I put my vote on MZ in part to see if he reacted. And he did. In fact he posted TWICE about my vote. Add the initial vote on DP, and it's as scummy as anything in the thread so far.

I see that my psychology post didn't serve to change the suspicion I MYSELF started. Now, I don't worry about being lynched since I am only vanilla town, but I do worry about having myself in the game for several days being slightly suspected of scum when it's just bad play.

I think oblivion is making heaps of sense, and according to my gut feeling MZ is on the scummy side of the spectrum.
