Interesting. I've just been re-reading the game threads. What do you know... it was virphen who first cast suspicion (rightly) over higgs2 and charlou, and wow now they are voting for him.

Charlou didn't respond to virphen's post initially, instead wrapping up the (wrong) case against magicziggy. Higgs2 did not question him about his 'twinkie is almost certainly innocent' statement, either. Nor did either of them respond to his FoS of them.

In fact, I went on to FoS both higgs2 and charlou here

I'd tend to think you're a good deal cleared just on the basis of coming to the game late, usually scum roles aren't handed out in those situations.

It is only when ghat (town doctor, deceased) asked why virphen would think I was cleared, that higgs2 and charlou jump on it and cling to it for dear mercy. At this point Feck votes to lynch higgs2.

I feel it's more likely that higgs2 is scum, because she is playing such a different game, a noisy scum flail-y game.

I agree with the first two ..mostly from the first day I suspected Higgs and Useless ..I haven't seen a reason to change my mind about them .
I don't think Virphen and Twinkie are scum because .....well I said it before they are coming across as town like to to me ...BUT Vir is sneaky

As my plan has pretty much gone to shit, I'll reveal what I was up to in exaggerating Twinkie's innocence.

I was trying to get whacked as cover for a special. It's one of my favourite tactics, in fact. I refer you to 2 games ago where I did the same. I hinted I had a special role, and took out a scum as I was a bomb. (I am not, to the best of my knowledge, a bomb this time, I didn't know I was one that day). I think Mantis should remember another game on RDF when I actually arranged for a vigilante to shoot me to help town (in a PM allowed game).

That's also why I waited until the 2nd day to make that claim - I wanted it to look like I'd had the chance to clear her as the seer.

Anyway there's no chance of it working now, scum will keep me alive - it's quite clear that scum are not going to whack innocents they think are going to get lynched next.

Mind you, I didn't exaggerate much: the chances of Oblivion missing out the PM to the scum team are next to 0. I bet it's the first PM she sends out. I'm surprised Twinkie wasn't whacked on the first night.

I'm sorry, I wanted to try to make the case against so you wouldn't have to out. But it was getting so late and no one else was around. And my credibility was a bit low since I had been so rough on people. I had to be, I waas p concerned about getting another scum. I've assumed there were 3 scum, buwt what if there were two and a traitor or something like that? If we lynch scum we could bed one.

I was hoping you'd get another read in. You did a really, really good job leave very subtle hints in thre that we could have used had we not figured it out today and you were taken out before you could out. But I think outing was the right thing to do, as I'm not sure I could have convinced everyone without your corroboration. I can tell you how I worked it out privately after the game is over if you prefer.
