I wonder if nellikins doesn't know the game has started. I almost missed one that way.

Did you actually read the thread? The Curious Squid wrote:Is it just Nekilin that we've still to even hear from?
Denny, what made you decide I was scum from my post?
You had 1 post then disappeared. That was scummy, hence my vote.
You came back today and I accepeded your post regarding RL going on.
Now you come back and it seems as your not really following the thread as this is the only thing town has to work with. again, F0S
Zigmen, Pipe up or you move to the top of my scum list. (love ya man)
Cross post Higgs....
I think your correct about Nelli.
Who do you think is scummy?

Your usually much more talkative and analytical.

I don't think my level of participation has not been that far out of my norm. I think you're riding others' coattails here.

^^ extraneous "not" in that sentence.

Wut?oblivion wrote:^^ extraneous "not" in that sentence.
I'm calling them as I see them. Have not had enough time to find any coat tails.
Most know this is how I roll.
Answer me this ob, Are you town?

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
Denny, what about you? are you town?
Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
hm. that was a bit of a hit and run.
Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
That was kind of weird, actually.
I'm hopeless at figuring out when these games start and end esp. with the 28.75 long first day or whatever that was.

okay, like in an hour and a half I think. I had my setting on daylight savings time which I think was screwing me up.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
One hour 20 mins remaining until daybreak
Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
Ok, now that the night action deadline has passed, there is some stuff I want to post in case I'm dead after tonight.
The post below is wrong. Statistically, town players tend to change votes more frequently than scum do. Scum worry about what the changes will look like to others. Town worry about lynching scum. There are always anomalies, but the scum motivations of not attracting too much attention, and getting town lynched are always there in the person's posts.
What do you bet, when the scum writeboard is revealed after this game, that the day one discussion features how scum can capitalize on the oblivion headache thing?
Then comes a huge set up of me, followed by an unvote:
If I'm dead on day 2, then Zigmen goes from kinda scummy to hugely scummy in my view. He's told me in the past that when he's scum he wants me out of the game asap.
He's probably not alone in that sentiment, but he's put his money where his mouth is a few times.
anyway. If I'm alive on day 2, those are the folks I'd focus on initially, unless the night kill(s) indicate something else entirely might be afoot.

and then he votes for gib.Magicziggy wrote:It has been a while since I've played a game. gib has distinctly altered his approach probably because of a recent game he's been playing. In the past, voting wildly and randonly has been seen as unhelpful and even scummy. But it's also quite a loose way to play and not the sort thing scum would do. But it does stand out.
and here's an example of fluff (of which there were many on day 1):Magicziggy wrote:Ok, it was an innocent enough speculation. I didn;t know there were rules against asking about game design on Day 1. TR rules. This is Ratz. No rules.
vote gib
Random voting. Creating a smokescreen.
I'm off to the garden, then shopping.
I shall return before nightfall.
Here he goes back on his comment about noise and randomness being scummy:Magicziggy wrote:Now I really do have to go shopping. I have all my fresh ingredients from the garden.
I'll be back later.
I'm going to shake this tree hard until scum fall out.
There's a lot of nothing, and yes I know I'm adding to that.
I always find Day 1 a real trial.
Magicziggy wrote:Now I MUST GO AND DO THE SHOPPING OR MY FAMILY WILL STARVE.
And when I return I intend to shake the tree very hard. Because, as usual, scum are probably nowhere to be seen.

and here another affirmation that confidence and vote-switching are town, but hey this time it's different:Magicziggy wrote:That extra full stop is very telling.oblivion wrote:MZ seems to be a little out there. tonight.
Zigmen, what does it mean?
To me it is indecision on top of a raging headache coupled with a statement of the bleeding obvious.
FWIW I never saw Irre's comment about scum knowing they were scummy until I re-read the OP just now.
I only saw the picture caption.
Cooking now.
this next post is classic: hedge much?Magicziggy wrote:Cockiness is usually what I associate with town.
Vote switching is as well.
But gib's initial flipping around was actually less helpful than he usually is as town, if anyone can remember that far back.
Magicziggy wrote:Yes, that's why you haven't voted him.oblivion wrote:I don't think gib is scum.
I can;t say I'm even 50% sure. But he's the best I've got atm.
Then comes a huge set up of me, followed by an unvote:
and then he's back onto gib. I wonder what would have happened if I'd awakened an hour earlier and had a hissy fit about the above post.Magicziggy wrote:Oblivion's headache has been bugging me.
I'm going to float this. She has a headache. I'll give her that. But what ideal cover for being off form in the game. Not hunting as hard. Is that too harsh?
Ok, this always stuck in my mind. Spooks (May 2010), endgame. Me (my first game),Ani, Blip and scum Ob and scum UT (first game). Ob has stomach pains or something similar and admits that, although true, she did play on it. Oblivion, is that correct? You are capable of playing up these ailments to your advantage.
I've just checked the scum thread for that game and you commented:
And about me thinking about changing my vote in the game:Oblivion in spooks scum thread wrote:I''ve been sick as a dog today. hopefully I'll be on my toes tomorrow.
Oblivion in spooks scum thread wrote:I think so too. he was already wavering a little over my stiff upper lip posts.
Just pointing out. Genuine ailment, but quite prepared to milk it as scum. Until last game, that spooks game was oblivion's last as scum.
I'm not going to vote Oblivion on the above. It's a bit tenuous and she should have some opportunity to respond. But I'm kind of moving away from gib. His posts are just a bit weird, but not particularly scummy. Now Mantis has just dumped a vote on Feck with no reason. And Charlou had dumped on Mantis for listing a rehash of the day's events. And zigmen now is seeming less confident about his ability. Nelli is a no-show so far. Squid is a one post wonder. I think I'll wait to hear from Denny before I'll decide on my final vote.
For now though unvote gib
I think MZ is scum. And if he is, DennyB probably is, too.Magicziggy wrote:vote gib
I'll have to stick with my first instinct here. He was weird.
DP always seems to be gunning for Feck.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
I think mz is scummy too. and callan. I don't get the zigmen thing though. I'm going to be gone or a while, probably won't get back to this until well into the next day.

Re: Sixth Sense Mafia - Game Thread
oh and also I can see what you mean about denny if mz is scum he seems to be protecting him. I am usually p. reticent about night chat because I don't like to give out information for scum moves. I don't see it with zigmen either btw.
