Re: My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Day 1
I'm agreeing with a lot of what ob says so far, but then i usually do, i do have a nagging fear she's playing us, so i hope she's high up on the to be viewed pile. I'm certainly not thinking of lynching her anytime soon. After last game, i'm not a good person to ask about gonzo. His posts seem typicaly gonzo like so far, and that usually makes me think scum for him. but I so horribly misread him and the expense of other people last game, i'm not relying on it.

But... it's mono we're talking about. He ONLY responds to pressure (and even then he can remain AWOL). It's not even poor play I'm talking about... poor play can be worked around when the player concerned posts enough to allow people a read of them. This is why I'll jump in to defend what I think is a town read of gonzo or matt (for e.g., and I am not agreeing with any labelling btw)Uselesstwit wrote:Quite possibly, but you didn't answer my concerns about you suggesting a lynch based on poor play instead of what you feel their alignment is. Have you ever done it before? I know several people that you consider horrid players, but you've never actually proposed knocking them off day one before. You're rightly famous for being tough on people to find their alignment, but this game you're willing to settle for a policy vote. It's not what i expect from you at all and it certainly isn't scumhunting.irretating wrote:You really have forgotten mono's game, haven't you...Uselesstwit wrote:mono looks like an easy, thoughtless lynch to me as well. I'm especially concerned about irre calling for it. A couple of games ago she went out of her way to defend gonzo because he was getting lynched often even as town. Now she's willing to lynch mono no matter what his alignment is, just because he can mess up a town game? Does anyone else EVER recall irre wanting to vote someone irregardless of alignment?

Look very carefully at those "happy" to vote me and those that actually do the voting.
I have to work now.

I'd consider voting Gonzo or Ani today. They've left more track record than Mono, and it's not strongly in a townish direction IMO. I'm a little concerned about an MZ lynch.

My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Day 1
That would be me, and that is pretty much the response I was looking for,Magicziggy wrote:Look very carefully at those "happy" to vote me and those that actually do the voting.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

You've been agitating and fomenting an MZ lynch, and now ani and ksen have jumped on, you are concernedoblivion wrote:I'd consider voting Gonzo or Ani today. They've left more track record than Mono, and it's not strongly in a townish direction IMO. I'm a little concerned about an MZ lynch.

I've said twice that I'm worried about trolley-tracking and don't plan to vote him today.irretating wrote:You've been agitating and fomenting an MZ lynch, and now ani and ksen have jumped on, you are concernedoblivion wrote:I'd consider voting Gonzo or Ani today. Really? Your vote is on irre, you've heaped tons of suspicion on mz and now you'll consider voting for two people you've barely mentioned? Okay, i'm feeling more like you're playing us now.oblivion wrote:I'd consider voting Gonzo or Ani today. They've left more track record than Mono, and it's not strongly in a townish direction IMO. she's not the only one who read that as a distancing post OB.oblivion wrote:I've said twice that I'm worried about trolley-tracking and don't plan to vote him today.irretating wrote:You've been agitating and fomenting an MZ lynch, and now ani and ksen have jumped on, you are concernedoblivion wrote:I'd consider voting Gonzo or Ani today. If MZ flips Ob is next on my list also.
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.
Re: My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Day 1
My vote is on irre and I'll leave it there given the current vote spread. Between her and MZ, I'm a lot more comfortable with her lynch.Uselesstwit wrote:Really? Yes, I've gone after MZ. He's kept his vote on me rather than putting it somewhere to save himself. I was already questioning my tendency to find him scummy in the early game.
What is your take on his reaction to the bandwagon that suddenly formed on him?

My vote stays where it is.
Whilst I certainly meant to include DP wrt to "happy to vote", it was really directed at Oblivion.
She has orchestrated suspicion of me and now the bandwagon is there. When I'm lynched put her under pressure.
I'm Rarity. I'm vanilla. Correlate the two and you will see the absurdity of revealing character names.

I'm derpy hooves, mother fuckers.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

Hmm. I backed off because I thought I might be mistaking a special vibe for a scum vibe.
