Am I crazy, Bili? I am not as experienced as you guys, and again, maybe it varies from site to site, but town will usually answer the question that they ask when it is generally based.

As in: "What timezones are the peeps on here in? It would greatly help my game play. I am in MST, in case anybody is wondering." <----pro town.
I honestly don't care a bit about what "slimy" means or whatever. As for meta, it may be a long while before I play here again, if ever. But something you need to realize is that lynching town for the right reasons is not a scum tell. If the reasoning makes sense, then the town player who made the errors being pointed at as justification for the lynch needs to learn how to play without giving off those signals. It really is the fault of that player's gameplay. Also, again, your votes were on town too so your rules for your "meta", such as they are, are inconsistent.
To the bold...why?

Not at all. I was asking for my personal information. I wasn't hiding anything, and in fact assumed that many of you already knew from posting on TR. ETA: Sorry I am not as chatty as many of you here but extraneous chat in game is scummy--its the appearance of activity without any sort of commitment of thoughts, etc.

Don't be re...er, obstinate on a irrelevant point.

The length of the game days and the night chat turn games here into a 24/7 affair. I seem to recall you or Mantis trying to FoS me for lower participation in night chat, even after I got confirmation that many players don't bother with it so much. I have a job that requires more attention of me than a mafia game so

(ETA: Keep in mind I don't play on TR anymore either, and haven't for months.)

Also, everyone, timing tells based on how long someone has been lurking here, posting on TR or whatever, are stupid, and I highly recommend everyone go on private mode immediately to stop it.

Who queries people where their timezone is, but not answer the question themselves? Mantis responded, if I remember correctly and gave a list of our timezones. But who does that?

Scum. That, IMO, was a scum tell. Not a town oversight. Anybody who was town who works a spreadsheet, would have been more forthcoming.

You are being too hard on Irre, IMO.
I'm not being too hard on irre. She invites it in her custom title! She could be a better player, if pushed in the right direction. Ignoring criticism that you don't like won't get you there however.

Want a better scum tell on me from this game? The vanilla town comment was downright amateur. Here is another: when I said "but I am assuming the bus driver action" (or however I phrased it). That suggested I didn't really think there had been one, even though I had already accepted it had occurred by my earlier actions.
What appears to be scum to people who know you will be different from people who don't. My whole point is that it differs and that different people will see different things.

I would never have picked up on, "but I am assuming the bus driver action" as being a scum tell. Why should I? That is a huge portion of your syntax that I am supposed to assume and I just don't get it. People who know you might.

Gads...I can't tell if you are in a sincere strop off or if you are paving the way for a future game. Funny how Mafia works on your mind.

It has nothing to do with knowing me and everything to do about thinking about what motivates a player to post what they do when they do.

I have NFI what a "strop off" is.

bottom line, it's the scummy looking players who get lynched.

When I'm town, I try to take responsibility for it - own it - when I do something that turns out to be objectively scummy, or something that winds up hurting town.

but that's not enough. As town you need to figure out who everyone is, who you can trust, and let others know they can trust you too. just knowing you are town is not sufficient. I didn't do enough of this in the game. I focused on Aza, who I knew was town. gib reached out and made the connection with me, and on his behest I also extended trust to Irre, despite p much freaking over the amount of wifom she dropped in the thread on day 1. But, it wasn't *my* connection and it didn't hold. And that was my error.

diva, I don't know what to tell you. At some point I'll get to where I can read you and also get to the point where I trust your judgement when I think you are town. I'm not there yet. And I'm pretty sure that you aren't there wrt me either.

OMG, this is so funny...Bili was worried about time tells on the scum board.

The problem with your suggestion is that previous GMs who are still functional and if they are playing can see if certain players are still active. It automatically shows up.

Since GMs aren't playing the game its alright. If former GMs can than it is an inequality with the other players and admin should step up and fix the lag problem to avoid potentially breaking the game.

Also, tabbed browsing. Basically, stop doing it.

No we can't. Not at Ratz and not at TR (though we give/remove GM access with every game there). At ratz, the GMs' enhanced access doesn't extend to seeing who is online. the regular mods and admins have that ability, I think.

Players that like to chat and/or banter are at a disadvantage in mafia. I know this but can't shut up. There must be a 12 step program for this somewhere.

I'm usually the player with the most posts in the game thread on the days that I'm alive. Sometimes I wind up with the most posts even when I'm gone by midgame.

I post a LOT. but I try to keep the banter and chat to a minimum, though I tend to get more chatty in the night chat when we have it.

I dunno. I don't usually get FoSed for being chatty. I just get yelled at for making the game threads too long (when guap or praying are playing, anyway. :D)

I would use the "hug" smiley about now but it looks...inappropriate...for the sentiment I wish to convey.

No hard feelings mate? You played a good game.

gib pays attention to where I'm posting and what I'm posting about elsewhere. The two times he's lynch-voted me for it, I was town. :/ to his credit, he figured that out pretty quickly.

No hard feelings at all! You played your game well. The bus of Denny cleared you for me so even though the seer view clouded things I'd still be attached to adenosine's ankle!

My 'not too sweet to sledge' is just how I am. I hope no one ever gets hard feelings
