It was a constant barrage of "LOL SCUM WASTED THEIR VOTES ON ME BY BLOCKING ME". At least 3 or 4 times. I almost outed him myself.

Making dinner right now but I will link you up to them once I've finished if you haven't found them by now.

Is that what they were? I was looking for comments like UTs, "I think that X is town...I wouldn't bother voting for Y..."
Ignore me, I'm just here for the Mafia.

Also look for the two times in which he threatened that lynching him would "ruin the game"

That is not how UT phrased it and you know it.

I was paraphrasing.

This may belong in a thread all by itself but I'll ask it here anyway. One, why would a special soft out himself throughout the game? When I am special I never do it. The risks of getting caught and nightkilled far outweigh any benefit. Two, to an onlooker, ie vanilla town, there's very little (no) difference between Doc Feck saying "It'll ruin the game if you lynch me" and Scum Feck saying "It'll ruin the game if you lynch me." To scum though it's a special on a golden platter.

gib, the last few months have been an education. I'm still learning, still trying to get better. It's like a scale with a bar fighter on one end (my starting game) and a Kung Fu Master on the other. I aspire to be a Kung Fu Master. Man, I'm deep.
Ignore me, I'm just here for the Mafia.

Why is it an "or" option? The consensus here is that there are two more scum.

Ok my bad you didn't say top suspect here

I'm not seeing where you really had mantis as a suspect at all, though.

I agree with gib that much of this discussion can wait. But the general theme that has been on going through the game appears to be "how can you tell between scum tells and special tells". Its not science. I have a column on my spread sheet called "suspected role" and I am constantly revising it based upon what I read, situational responses, exactly what is said, and once I've had a few games in with someone, player specific tendencies (I only have those sorts of reads on Ob and ksen in this game, and those are 6 months old and are basically useless). Early in the game its hard; later it gets much easier.

(Originally I had UT penciled in as the doc. See if you can figure out why. But, wait until after the game.)

Oh, for your specific question of why would a player (in this case Feck) soft out through the game, my answer is simply he probably isn't aware he is telegraphing like that. Its what makes tells tells.

I'm not sure we can given the evidence at hand.

Remember that I didn't vote for ksen for mayor--how is that for trust? I went with the player cleared by the seer. Its a better long term strat for town.
