Eduard wrote:Hi oblivion, thanks for answering my questions, just a quick note: I know the day rounds end in an inconvenient time for me - that's why I asked about the proxies in the previous games. I'd much rather nominate a proxy than do nothing. I don't know how to get around this problem, but I will try not to leave the round in a manner that looks suspicious and cause fellow town members to focus on me and not the mafia.
It's very difficult to find a start and end time that works for all time zones. My solution is to make it a 24 hour game day/12 hour night when I have participants from a whole lot of different time zones. Then people complain that the game day drags on too long. There is no perfect solution.

Eduard wrote:I don't think FP is innocent, based on the posts he's given thusfar. Maybe it's just a ruse to keep playing the same style to avoid suspicion after noticing how conscientious players like oblivion keeps tabs on previous player behaviour. But FP did vote for Budski? Not sure, something smells like a Justin Timberlake cologne.
What about my posts is suspicious?

Ani, I accept your explanations, Budski even made me feel guilty and I hadn't voted for him (that answers your question, Eduard. In fact I defended him a little). As it is, however it's the only solid evidence that is suspicious at all. Do you have any better suspects than yourself?

Perhaps we can find some more information going over Budski's posts.

I'm thinking about offering "Proxy Voting" to Eduard and any other player on an "As Needed" basis.

I do not wish Proxies to become standardized in their useage.

Anyone who does not wish Eduard to be given the option to Proxy Vote should say so. If you would like to be considered to also be given this option, please PM me asap.

I'm going to update the game rules after we discuss this.

It does seem awfully unfair to Eduard to keep things the way they are.

Would it be possible to make nightfall an hour later? eduard was able to post shortly after the day ended.

I really don't like the idea of proxy voting.

Why ... he signed up to play, knowing the hours, didn't he? :dono:

I'm against, but will not argue with whatever the consensus is.

Just a quick note.

Twinkie made a point to state that Budski, along with Feck seemed the least town. It's hard to say if Twinkie would point Budski out in this way if they were the same team. Don't think so...

I'm suspicious of Feck as well because, there hasn't been too much scum hunting from him. If Feck is scum, Twinkie is town then for sure.

I get the feeling that Feral_P is innocent - but, there's no real reason for that. Just because he seems to be trying to help out a lot.

I think MZ, Oblivion and probably Ani are town, because of the Budski thing.

However - maybe the scum team calculated the benefits of sacrificing someone early on to get into a trusted position.... Oblivion....

Not sure about Ed... there are quite a few recent posts from him, but they seem to be unrelated to anything...

Charlou, I hope you are okay. And Denny - he made a quick post, but it's hard to say anything right now on him.

Boy Band Mafia Day 2

Post by Zigmen » Thu Aug 26, 2010 3:11 pm

Day 2 begins.

Last night was a blood bath. Luckily, the Town band takes the stage and provides cover while you drag a couple bodies out the back door.

Feck was electrocuted. He was Vanilla Town.
Eduard was strangled. He was Vanilla Town.

The living:

1 Charlou
2 Oblivion
4 Mantisdreamz
5 Denny
6 feral p
7 twinkie
8 Ani
10 MZ

The Dead:

3 Feck-Town
9 Eduard- Town
11 Budskiboo - Scum

Interesting :ask:

Vote Twinkie (for reasons mentioned yesterday).
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.

Kill methods are electrocution and strangling.

From the PG:
But, there's a catch: Each band will be given guns. Your job will be to eliminate the other band altogether!!!
Hm.

Any thoughts as to which kill was scum and which was vig? I can make at least a weak case for either player looking like a special. And I can make a case for either player looking a little scummy.

A note on the Flavor:

I had a wonderfully written launch to Day 2 that fizzled whn i posted it. What you see here is a last-minute OP that strives for accuracy of who died. Sorry folks, but don't read too much into the flavor today~

With 2 night kills per night, this is going to be a short game.

People I suspect the most: Alla yas.

Charlou and Denny what are your thoughts about yesterday's late bandwagon swapping and last night's kills?

Feral P has come off mostly defensive so far.

Twinkie and Mantis are suspicious because they are alive on day 2.

MZ's vote saved Twinkie.
