There's only seven left...

1 amok
3 Feck
4. b.ternarius
5. Def
6. MZ
8. Mantisdreamz
9. VFW

... and one is definitely a murdering Tea Party Scum and at least one is a thief (my gift from Zigmen was stolen on the same night athene was killed - I doubt there's any harm in revealing that at this point).

What are the odds that there are still two Scum, considering the starting number? I have to think there's an indie in the game.

It's pretty hard to get a read on who's who, but I still have a bad vibe off of Mantis, and bt as well.

MZ and amok seem safe, and the others I'm neutral about.

I had a positive vibe from bt, mostly because of the wording and timing of her post to ksen that first day. She called him on his "Zombies are Scum" remark within minutes, which suggests to me they wouldn't have had time to discuss strategy if both were Scum. Of course, that was before I decided there's also an Indie.

To be honest, at this point the only one I'm 100% sure of is myself. Def and bt are high on my trust meter; MZ is fairly high; Mantis, Feck and vofw are medium to low.

One of you is Scum, and one of you is Indie (in my opinion). One more Town (or the Indie) will be dead in a few hours, and the game might be over before we can vote again if the Indie manages to fulfill his/her win condition (another theft, I presume).

Mantis pushing for my lynch. No mention of VoFW I don't think. Setting up the nk. It's between the two of them for me, if not the both of them.

Sure, cool. Have fun, Mr. Mayor. Only the paranoid would think there's anything untoward about that. Never been said before in the whole history of mafia.

I know it's night and not voting time, but if I'm alive to vote tomorrow...

well i'm not really pushing you for the lynch. i'm just curious about you.

because - on 2nd re read of day 1, it kind of looks like you had a very swift change of heart. you were all about the fact that ksen can't be scum unless he messed up.

and now, on 2nd re read of def's post earlier today (his 1st one), i'm wondering if it was staged.

b.t and amok seemed to have called out ksen for his post right at the beginning. Feck's being all honest, and saying that he probably wouldn't have voted ksen.

i'm not sure at all about vofw.

it's vofw, mz or def on my scum list

Staged with bt who you just said was giving you a good feeling? :hilarious:

You're positively erratic this game.

My skepticism over ksen's stuff up has been echoed by others. No one is cleared. It may have been staged. If it were then b. t would be the accomplice. She also pushed for praying to be lynched. I'm not subscribing to that at this point in time. VoFW, for all his pre game hype, has been less than useful. Self voted mayor and claimed vanilla. He is the only player to mention the word scum in his role pm. He is still my number one target.

I'm trying to be understanding. Mantis is in Canada (like me) and the Summer Silly Season does tend to drop interwebby stuff down on the list of important stuff.

Personally, I'm concentrating quite hard on this game for two reasons: summer has so far mostly shunned my part of the country; and this is my first game on this site, and I don't want to make a shambles of it.

But I'm going to try to be reasonable about this. I know Upper Canada is wilting (I have family there, and they're drooping in the heat and humidity). I'm also going to try to be reasonable about my major suspicion (vofw,), because I suppose it is possible he's all busy having summer fun (granted, I have no idea where he lives, but I assume it's somewhere inland, N. America, from posting times).

But, geeze, I'd also think he'd have know a few days ago that he couldn't participate much, and wouldn't have put himself up for Mayor. I've played at least two games where a bad guy used "busy" excuses. I guess I'm becoming a bit jaded.

Amok, what else can you say about the gift that was stolen. This is the only additional game feature to a basic setup that I aware of. You are also insistent that there is an indie. Most players would read that as you being that indie. I certainly have. This would throw the whole dynamic askew. A town friendly indie and three scum. Makes even a small game interesting.

It's mid winter here. Bright sunshine and 13C. :)

I'm tempted to just lynch the non-voters to get them out of the way. That'd be mantis and vofw if I've counted right.

##vote vofw##
shit, sorry about not voting. i was thinking about voting for MZ -- but, didn't because i was going to think about it a little more. I think he's kind of looking like a good choice.

Feck seems town now too.

but hey b - it's night right now, no votes!
Yeah, I know .. I was just venting.
