Normally scum doesn't know who the traitor is and the traitor doesn't know who the scum team is. Not that it's impossible for a game to be set up so they do. Fact that the traitor had a power makes me wonder...

It wasn't so much a theory. I was convinced Aza was a baddie, and assumed Scum because of the b.tern lynch mini-tantrum. Thinking about it in hindsight, his trying to save b.tern makes sense (because the Traitor wins with Scum), and obviously he was just as capable as anyone else to have her on his Scum pile.Uselesstwit wrote:i'm not sure. i know amok had a theory about it, but i never really got what she was saying.
I also assumed Irre was bad, because the odd statements uncovered by Charlou. I'm not sure why I got into the either/or thinking, though. Also in hindsight, there's no sensible reason why they couldn't both have been ordinary Scum, rather than one being the traitor.
My comment about the order of actions related to the Block, which I took to mean there is another Town Special.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

DP, if you're not even going to contribute to finding scum, it's no wonder you're considered to be on scum's side. Unless you make an effort to help us find scum, my vote will be on you on day 4.Don't Panic wrote:Will there ever be a game when I'm not a ?

5 games time, it's going to be a fairly simple game though, my first outing.Uselesstwit wrote:planning on being a gm anytime soon?Don't Panic wrote:Will there ever be a game when I'm not a ?

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

My votes reflect where I think scum are, and I did twig to b.tern, and posted that, Andrew I got wrong, you I got wrong, I seem to be able to pick out who isn't vanilla town, but I don't always know why, if what appears to be unfounded suspicion is helpful I'll be sure to post any and all I find dodgy, I just can't always guarantee you'll get a reason.charlou wrote:DP, if you're not even going to contribute to finding scum, it's no wonder you're considered to be on scum's side. If you're town it'd be easier to get a town read on you if you contribute more, that's all.
Looking forward to playing your debut GM'd game.

I'm looking forward to GMing it, and hope people enjoy it, there won't be anything too weird since it's a first outing.Looking forward to playing your debut GM'd game.

Actually Matt, the one thing we know is the game has been set up as such.
The role pm DID NOT MENTION the role blocking part. I would have noticed. Gonzo must have added it afterwards.
This would be perhaps balanced by the addition of gib to town. He is the most pro town player who's not an outed special.

If I were town compatible sk, I'd have killed aza on night one.Uselesstwit wrote:yeah, that post should have read certainly not scum, I spaced that we might have another indie running around.gib wrote:wait you just declared MZ as almost certainly town
If I were non town compatible, it would have been fairly random I guess. Suppose it could of been zigmen. He was asking for it. Adenosone would come under "fairly random".
Sooo....that looks crap. But I'm not an SK. I'm town.
If there is an SK, I'd say one of UT, amok or Feck. Or DP.
Given my thoughts about who an sk would have targetted, I would favour adenosine as the scum kill.
zigmen was an unlikely vig kill, so I would favour an sk for his kill.
That points to vig with limited bullets or an Aza block. Remains unknown.
Daybreak should tell us more.

Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
but why would the scum kill aden ahead of two outed specials MZ?

Doc anticipation. Also, it wasn't entirely known that I was special. I mean nobody has really been able to get a read on me this game, and I wouldn't doubt it if scum thought I was a good decoy to keep around, assuming that town would eventually lynch me.Uselesstwit wrote:but why would the scum kill aden ahead of two outed specials MZ?

zigmen had also outed by then, that's who i was counting as the second. so i just don't see scum putting that many special/likely specials on hold to pop aden.

but zigman was killed and MZ stated above that he thought zigman was an unlikely vig kill, so what were you disagreeing about?

Unless scum thought Ade was the seer, Andrew hadn't fully outed at that point.Uselesstwit wrote:zigmen had also outed by then, that's who i was counting as the second. so i just don't see scum putting that many special/likely specials on hold to pop aden.

mz said he thought the sk might have killed zig, which would mean that scum did aden, and that's what doesn't make sense to me.
