I could have chosen to pass it on, but didn't.
Why not?
Mostly because I wanted to make sure the seer lived another night.
How would not passing the gift on ensure this?

I protected myself night 1.

UT outed day 2, as did irre. Because there was talk of Irre giving a boomerang that would switch UT with someone else, scum sent their roleblocker against him, & tried to NK Feck, who I protected. Bad decision by scum, it turns out.

I outed late on night 2, too late for scum to kill me.

Night 3 I was given the option of protecting myself or UT. There were other options too, but obviously I did not protect Irre, and could not protect Feck for the second time in a row.

Night 4 - 2 outed town specials, 1 night kill. Scum flips a coin, & loses.

When you do the maths, the odds of me being alive are better than 50%.

I gave my reasons for not revealing who I protected on nights 3 & 4, but if it stops all this paranoiac fosing I will out it. As I said before, it is most likely scum/SK already knows.

also MSG did you protect someone because I cannot understand why you are not dead , you have outed as the doc if I were scum you would have been my target of choice last night .
Feck, if you recall, toward the end of day 3 I asked for options on who to protect that night. Irre suggested either UT (the outed seer) or me as the outed doc, so scum then targeted irre.

I don't need to tell you who I protected on night 3 or night 4, but scum / SK probably knows who it was last night because their kill failed. In all probability that person will die on night 5 because I can't protect them twice, but on the off-chance the killer took a night off, or chooses to target someone else, there's no reason for me to show my hand today.

Your bolded comments seem to be at odds, and you know the meme lynch all liars.

QUESTION

Why did you not indicate on day 3 that you could not protect yourself since you had done it on night one, according to you?

Passing on the gift on N4 would've been a gamble that MSG would protect UT.

Okay, I see now his admission where he poorly worded it.

It was the one where he gave an explanation of why he was still alive. Maybe he just sucks at probability deduction but his numbers were off and he seems way too eager for everyone to be okay with lynching a town, as long as it isn't him.

This should be obvious and was also mentioned explicitly here. Is there a natural explanation for your numerous lapses of attention? Are you very busy IRL right now?

re the bit I've bolded: Well, if he's a special as he claims that would make sense.

That said, I'm not sure about him either ... but then, other than myself, I'm not sure about anyone at this point.

Yes, I read that. Just checking your attention.

You didn't pass the gift on because you didn't trust anyone to use (or opt not to use) it wisely?

I'm still wondering about why you felt the need to point out a post you made on day four, in relation to a posting restriction you had on day five. When did you learn that you would have the posting restriction on day five?

If I had passed it on on N4, it would presumably only be available for use from N5 and onward.

On N3, I got a PM informing me that I had been given a gift and that I'd be subject to a posting restriction on the game day following the night I used it.

Why did you have a problem with that?

You used it N4 ... you swapped UT and Bolero ... so you succeeded with that. Why did you have a problem with passing the gift on for use on N5 onward?
