It just occurred to me, i'm now wondering if the delay at the end of the rounds is caused by gonzo needing to contact the person playing 47 whether they want to take on the disguise or not.

I really think 47 is most likely irre, but that's just a feeling. I'm guessing that town has a view disguise ability just like char had. so since we know that feck was disguised as a waiter and matt has outed as one if there is a view for a waiter that isn't matt we know one of them is lying. The trick it seems is that 47 will constantly be switching between disguises, so we have to catch him in between changes. At least that's my current guess as to what the game mechanic is.

ok let's explore this - if you were irre and you were agent 47 - and i'm assuming agent 47 understands the game setup better than town or possibly even scum does - would you immediately suggest everyone outed their role/disguise/job w/e

maybe, there's a lot i'm not sure of. If the three targets listed in the day one op are her only targets for a win condition then yes the risk might seem to be worth it. Since it might have given her at the very least a much smaller hit list. At least that's what i'm thinking atm. I don't know how else to read those three people being called targets and one of them turning out to be a town special. No way are they targets for town so they must be targets for someone else. Also gonzo said that 47 was scum aligned, not scum, so I'm wondering if he's not a sk with a really twisted win condition.

What I am sure of is that her claim for a mass out followed by her trying to brush it off as "just an experiment" still really pings for me.

oh i see what you're saying. i was thinking the number meant invited guests that remain and char as scum wasn't an invited guest, you're thinking number of people still present. but doesn't 47 only take disguises of people he kills? town got credit for char's kill. if you're right he still is a vip, if i'm reading it right he could be anyone.
